- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,211 reviewsVery well maintained! Super clean! Homemade delicious breakfast included in price! We’ve traveled a lot in US but this is overall one of the best stays we’ve ever had here in USA! A lot better than any high end luxury overpriced hotels/resorts we’ve stayed! Highly recommend if you’re heading to Monument Valley area. And the night sky… wooow! Thanks a lot to the La Posada Pintada staff! You guys did great!Guest review byMatějCzech Republic

There is also a beautiful garden outside. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and sent all the information in our first language beforehand. He patiently helped us with a problem that occurred with my credit card and always answered very quickly to messages. We definitely recommend staying there!Guest review byJohannaAustria

The Bluff Fort museum looked interesting but it was too hot to walk around. In mid-July, there were very few options for dining, which became a bit of a challenge for my diabetic husband. The pizza from the gas station convenience store kept us fed after a long day at Monument Valley. Utah forces you to be self-reliant in every way, although the gas prices in town were better than in Moab.Guest review bySarah F.E.United States - 10.0

If you love the beauty of the desert, respect and admire Navajo culture, and want to be surrounded by iconic visions of the Southwest, Monument Valley is a bucket list trip for sure. I would go back with family, perhaps booking a horseback trip in the park next time.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 10.0

the hotel was easy to get to, plenty of parking however was a bit taken back when front staff said they had had some vandalism to cars, but at least they let us know and told us to put a card on our car so night watch could know whose car it was and we had no issues, the setting was lovely, we ate in the restaurant and it was the dish I had was absolutely wonderful-a green chili stew with pablano. The gift shop cute and inviting. The room was clean-we just stayed one night. we stayed there so we could get the anteloupe canyon Navajo tour which was pretty closeGuest review byRobinUnited States - 10.0
We loved our hotel and the small village there.
We loved our hotel and the small village there. We loved the history and all there was to see. There were only 2 restaurants suggested for us. One opened at 5 pm. It was the higher recommended; however, they would not sit us or allow us in early so we went to the one which opened at 4:30. We were NOT disappointed. The other one needs to learn people skills. I wish I could remember the names and be more specific.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0
We arrived late afternoon and looked around Gould's Resort.
We arrived late afternoon and looked around Gould's Resort. The museum was interesting and food was quite good other than the country western music, which is not our style. We took the Sunrise Tour through Gould's Resort and it was excellent. The formations in Monument Valley are fabulous. The movie and Navajo history are also very interesting.Guest review byJanUnited States - 8.0
Kayenta is a nice out of the ordinary place to visit.
Kayenta is a nice out of the ordinary place to visit. Location to other attractions was exactly what we were looking for. Everyone we had contact with were very nice , helpful and informative. The dinning establishments were adequate and again very accommodating.Guest review byjulieanneUnited States - 8.0

Bluff is a good location for visiting Canyonlands or Valley of the Gods. We were there in the middle of January (totally off-season) and some of the local restaurants were closed for the season or only open on weekends.Guest review byRandyUnited States - 10.0

I'm not normally into landscapes, but this was an incredible experience. The facades of the natural monuments have weathered into pictorial dioramas. It's astonishing the variety of visual angles available to the eye at different times of the day as the sun rises and sets.Guest review byLynnUnited States - 6.0

The main advantage of Kayenta is that it is about 25 minutes drive for the Monument Valley and it is basically the only place at this distance that has decent facilities and places to stay. And even so the selection is not that great. Otherwise it is an unremarkable place.Guest review byMichailGreece
