The room was huge and comfy, the shower had great hot water, the air conditioning was flawless, and the curtains gave full privacy, which was especially appreciated on the ground floor. The location was ideal too - quiet, close to a lovely park, and still an easy walk to the city center (only about a mile to the farthest relevant point). But what really stood out was the staff’s kindness. After we accidentally left a precious jacket behind, they found it and took kind care of shipping it to us with no problem at all. That made the whole experience feel extra special.

Everything. We have been travelling down through the US for two and a half weeks, staying in lovely hotels along the way, however this was the best. Everything about the hotel was wonderful, room, staff, service, ambience and the facilities. Loved our stay here and were sad to leave both the hotel and the city this morning. New Orleans is a great place for adults.

New Orleans is a great place for adults. There are so many good places to eat for breakfast - Mother's restaurant, Willa Jean's. Getting around is easy, you can walk most places in the French Quarter. The streetcar is easy to use. I'd recommend taking it up to see the Garden District and Audubon park. The aquarium and insect house were very fun.

THEY HAVE PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS TO PLEASE EVERYONE TASTE. PF CHANGS, SOUTHERN CHICKS AND DAIQUIRI, THE GREEK RESTAURANT, AND PICCADILLY ALL HAD GREAT SERVICE AND FOODS. GETTING AROUND BATON IS NOT HARD, IT JUST THAT THE DRIVERS THERE ARE NOT CONSIDERATE AND YOU REALLY HAVE TO DRIVE FOR YOURSELF AS WELL AS OTHERS

Lafayette is a quiet Louisiana town that has the charm and quaintness of a typical French small town. The ambience was peaceful; visited the Evangeline statue in St. Martin Parish at the Saint Martin de Tours Mother Church of the Acadians and also visited the Longfellow - Evangeline State Historic Site. Pressed for time, I would love to get back and visit soon....

Worst hotel i have ever stayed at! Disgusting smell, very dirty, everything broken down. Nothing worked including the shower. Manager savanna incredibly rude and controversial even to her staff. Unexpected fees that cost more than the hotel itself. Filthy pool, key to gym didnt work. They lost our check in paperwork so locked us out of our room. I wanted to leave as soon as i got there. This place should not be on booking.com. I want a refund! Stay at horseshoe dont stay here, you will regret it. Their reviews are fake! Abd they hide their true bad reviews

I reserved a room for one full night. I arrived at 4:30 am after driving for 14 hours and unexpected circumstances. At that point I just wanted to sleep until check out time at 11am and get back on the road to Texas. When I arrived to check in I was told there were no rooms available and that there was nothing they could do for me. Not good business at all and I still have not received my refund. This happened Oct 7th and 8th

Plenty of stores'. At the time of this visit to my granddaughter's house in Haughton, the freeway had serious reconstruction in progress to the area of the motel and my son in law was able to lead us to the motel after dark as the exits to the motel were closed for reconstruction. We are very senior citizens.

Lakeside Mall is still a great indoor mall. Old Metairie has some good restaurants and stores. My son really like the Bricks and Minifigs Lego resale shop! And of course the Lego store. Easy drive to get to your favorite spots in New Orleans. Lots of Grocery Store options. I always bring my cooler! I love Zappardos. Really I love all the groceries in Metairie. So many options. Not usually a thing for visitors to go to, but there is nothing like a South Louisiana grocery.

The price wasn’t bad and it’s convenient to have a stove, microwave, and big refrigerator in your room but the staff harassed me while I was there. The next morning, I heard walking in front my door and it was the same property manager that gave me a hard time passing in front my room. I offered for us to reintroduce ourselves and make peace and she declined. Yet she kept passing in front of my room, almost like she was spying on me.

I was impressed with the diversity of the restaurants found in Slidell. I enjoyed the state Park. I was impressed by the culinary offerings at Que Rico’s Cuban style restaurant. Excellent food and friendly welcoming staffers!
