Had a stocked kitchen with tools and crockery and pots etc. Loved the balcony and seeing the pool and sea. LOVED the big pool. And the peaceful place to rest beside the pool in the nice loungers. We will be back. And great location. Not too far from town but not too close. We were here for my Ironman race and it was the best place to relax and prepare for the race.

Hi,
all in all the appartment the view and everything was perfect also very easy to get in the appartment with the code.
But the day before we checked in the hotel gave me a hard time because of my service dog and this was not ok. They stressed me the whole day about it even I let them know I bring my device dog 3 weeks or more in advance.
And then out of a sudden I don’t receive a message back and I came to big island with a usury feeling if we are welcome at the resort or not.
This was not ok everything else was very good!

We had a late arrival due to flight, but checkin was very easy, the room and bed were comfortable, and view was decent. We did get a reduced rate "renovation special" so we knew to expect some construction noise, but even that was reasonable, after 9:30 am, so no worries. Staff were amazing, in the early morning hours we requested a kettle to boil water (as the room only had coffee makers), someone came to our room within 10 minutes to give us the kettle. Mahalo nui and aloha (^_^)

We loved everything about this resort. The room was spacious and perfect for our family of 4. The pool area is great and the facilities around the resort are awesome. We loved the hot tubs, pools, playgrounds, BBQ areas and all the other extras. Parking was great and all the staff on-site were really nice and helpful. The location was perfect to explore the Kona Coast from.

This place was nothing short of an oasis. The house, the rooms, the views, the decor, the zenitude and the best of the best - Hannah and her big heart. <3 when I close my eyes and think about Hawai'i I'm sitting on your veranda eating the fabulous breakfast, drinking your coffee and thinking "oh what a wonderful world".. Would be back a 100 times!

Lovely resort, well managed, always looks pristine. 3 pools with jacuzzi, one next to the ocean. Apartment overlooking the golf fairway was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Resort is tucked away in a quiet position with a shopping centre, petrol and food nearby. Easy drive into Kona and nice drive Volcano.

The apartment is in a great location, by the sea and close to the centre of Kona. I loved sitting on the balcony of an evening and hearing the sea. The kitchen was also very well equipped.

Absolutely should visit the national parks and cultural experiences. Do a bunch of research in advance on how to find the various scenic locations, waterfalls, etc. There are few signs to guide you along the way.

Captain Cook is a spread-out sort of a place so it's difficult to characterise. There is an excellent pizza place there and a couple of other restaurants plus a supermarket and gas station. You can get down to the coast, but it's a steep walk. The coastline down there is beautiful.

Quiet beauty and comfort and within a reasonable driving distance of many beautiful beaches, and sights, and activities. My favorite beach was in the neighborhood to the north, a 15 minute easy hike from a public park. Loved the privacy and beauty there. Loved Kua beach, the farmers markets in Waimea, Gecko Girlz Shave Ice in Kona, and Volcano National Park. Enjoyed Lau Lau restaurant about 10 miles toward Kona, and many different beaches with waves and/or snorkeling.

As a Big Island resident, I think Kona is over rated and overpriced for what it is. I think it looks like a strip mine with some beaches. Ali'i drive shops has many vacancies. I think other parts of the island have more to offer in beauty, scenery and temperature which is why I don't live in Kona.

Further away from the hustle & bustle of Kona, but has great little restaurants and a nice grocery store. It is a great little rather laid back town with historic places and good snorkeling/ swimming on quite a few beaches within 5- 10 miles.

If you desire to experience the true essence of Hawaii, staying at Serenity Hale is a MUST!!! From the frog chorus at night to the amazing view from the lanai, the cleanliness, spaciousness, all the extra amenities (including kitchen items & snorkeling gear), location within a reasonable distance to many activities on the island. . . . Serenity Hale has it all! Our host, Jim, was MORE than accommodating! He only desires the best for his guests, & having served as a concierge previously, he does an amazing job of keeping you happy, active, & safe! He provides soooo many suggestions & helpful tips! Wish we could stay longer! Would not hesitate to stay here again! Mojo, the pup, is an added benefit to make you feel right at home during your stay!

We stayed a week in a house in area. Ate at Grill on beach drove to volcanoes, and Historic National Parks. Black sands beach was great as turtles swam by. Took Manta Rey night snorkel and day snorkels. Coffee tour was hot and humid but informative.

Captain Cook is a lovely area - but don't count on actual beaches as in lots of sand! There is lava everywhere and people simply snorkel or body surf around it. There are a couple of small pockets of sand. Check out the cloud forest up in the hills, simply a hiking area that may mist more often than lower down. I've heard you can see sea turtles and dophins if you go early enough down to the bay, but otherwise there's a much nicer place to view the turtles, at least, north of the Kona airport, and at any time of day. The only long beach is by a hotel north of the airport.
And anywhere on the Big Island, there is lava! So.Much.Lava!

Beautiful home on quiet street with a great view! Great access to nearby beach, tho the beach is rocky. Secluded snorkeling and swimming.
Home has everything you would need for a relaxing private stay, but you need to be aware that groceries and toiletries are NOT nearby, so plan accordingly. Almost any condiment you would need is there, but you should do your grocery shopping on the way there, so you can relax on the lovely lanai and watch the sunset over a glass of wine when you get there and get settled. Home has a nice assortment of 'play toys' for days at the beach available for use. Wifi is ok, tho a bit spotty and we had some trouble connecting at first, but owners are very helpful via text in getting that corrected. Quiet hours strictly enforced and neighbors are close, so any sounds carry very easily outdoors. Road down to the home is windy and steep, so if you're not used to driving this kind of road, it can be a bit disconcerting, but we found it to be a fun road (from Colorado) to navigate.
