Location is perfect , close to the city but far enough to be into nature and be calm. Room was huge and full kitchen was well stocked. Pools were perfect . Close to the cycle path and hiking trails. Staff was just awesome - the highlight of our USA northeast roadtrip!

Everyone at Riverwalk Resort were kind and friendly. The front desk staff went out of their way to walk us through where things were at the resort and answered all.our questions. We stayed here to celebrate our 3 year old son's birthday, so the kids place space was an unexpected pleasant bonus where my daughter and I were able to have a sensory-friendly birthday party for my child with Austim. We had pizza for dinner, played, and danced for a good 2 hours! Other guests who walked would join briefly and celebrate as well. We had a blast during our stay. I highly recommend for families.

The owners are a very sweet, helpful, hard working couple and they deserve recognition for it. Its not a 5 star hotel but they do provide you with all you need, the cottages are clean and very comfortable, and most importantly, with a very efficient heating system. It's quiet, the location is beautiful and you are close to everything

If you want to experience NH as it was, this motel gives every guest a bird's eye view of the roaring Pemi River 20 feet away. If you want an antiseptic condo experience once or twice removed from nature, go elsewhere. If you want the fresh air and sound of nature right outside your window, come here and ask for room 7

The room was cosy and comfortable, and in the perfect spot. The views from both balconies was great! And the room was ready to check in early, which was amazing. The welcome at check in was great and I felt very safe at the property being a solo traveller!

The time between leaf peeping and skiing season is very...

The time between leaf peeping and skiing season is very quiet, so it was great to visit the parks. There was 3-4 inches of snow in the parks in mid November so if you are going visit at this time make sure you have appropriate winter coats/hats and footwear if trekking thru the woods. Waterfalls and Mountain View’s were beautiful. We were fortunate to be able to see Mount Washington range fully , especially when taking a photo opportunity at Mount Washington Hotel turnoff.

There are so many things to do for families in this area -...

There are so many things to do for families in this area - Clarks Bears, Whales Tale Water Park, Lost River Gorge, Flume Gorge, Loon Mountain, Cascade Falls, and so much more. The Kangamangus is right there and there are some great places to stop along the way.

We loved the Flume Gorge, definitely worth experiencing. We also loved the Cannon Mountain Tram to the top of the mountain. Once you are at the top you can get beer and/or food. There is a beautiful and easy hike to a look out tower. The views were spectacular!

Nice location to the Flume Gorge, Old Man of the Mt and Kancamagus highway. Good restaurants (Covid-19 hours shortened the choices). Overall very scenic. N Woodstock Brewery + B+B is a wonderful place to stay right in the middle of town.

It was fantastic to be there during the 50th anniversary...

It was fantastic to be there during the 50th anniversary celebration of the Highland Games at Loon. I enjoyed restaurants as well as activities at the Games (I was a co-host of a Clan tent in Clan Village).

North Woodstock was so beautiful!

North Woodstock was so beautiful! The locals are nothing but kind and generous people. We had fun walking all over town sightseeing, trying new restaurants and left with lots of cool souvenirs from gift shops!
