After we visited Miami and Everglades, a great place to stop and rest before a long drive to Keywest for next day. Hotel looks relaxing and neat. The lady in the reception is very friendly too. They have unlimited free coffee, different kinds of tea and water refill as well. Rooms are big, clean and modern. Of course, sumptuous breakfast enough to energize us for another long day.. Special thanks to the ladies in the reception and housekeeping that when we left our tripod, we got it back the next day as we drive back to Miami.

We did not have super high expectations before we arrived, but this property was just amazing! The reception guy George was so friendly and talked to us really nicely when we arrived. Then, when we found smoke smell in the room he gave us initially, we complained to him and he was super apologetic about it and upgraded us to a better room with. He also gave us tips for the Everglades and a discount coupon for the alligator farm. And we also happily chit chatted about our respective countries. the room was simply amazing. so well furnished, comfy beds, well stuffed shower and bathroom and super nice to rest. no problem at all. and the breakfast was also super good. the ladies serving the breakfast were super nice. Oh, and the parking right outside the room was a big plus! All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice 'retro' hotel (a bit MCM). Room was very nice and beds were comfortable. The staff were very nice and very professional (they were dealing with a bit of an emergency while we were checking in and did an excellent job of customer service).

good for the everglades and for affordable good italian or cuban food (Mario's), nearby also to Miami and Keys most affordable in the area for resting, dining and shopping (there's an outlet) for everglades, keys and Miami, plenty of fast food and starbucks etc, although some areas can be a bit sketchy so need to use car rather than walking

While the staff at the hotel was friendly, the overall experience was disappointing. The room had cleanliness and odor issues, poor lighting, and lacked basic amenities like towels, which had to be requested. There was also no clear communication about breakfast options. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return to a hotel like this, especially for the price I paid, there are many other options nearby with equal or better rates and much better standards. I expected more.

Homestead was a nice place.

Homestead was a nice place. It has a little gem of a beach, Homestead Bayfront park. For family’s very safe. Had it own little beach, little enclosed pool feed by the sea ideal for all kids. Life guards and facilities, including a bar. We found we were there on our own, most of the time. Lots of restaurants with a great variety of before you head south to the keys.

What I enjoyed the most were the comfy beds and hot showers along with an incredible and fullfilling breakfast. We had only stayed there for three short days but we try to make the best time possible and enjoyed every minute of it, your room rates have to do a lot with it, we thank you for providing visitors with affordable room rates.

The location is super convenient with lots of stores and restaurants in walking distance. the rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. they come with a mini fridge. a microwave and a coffee machine. There is a gym, a swimming pool an laundry facility. Breakfast is also include, serving a great variety of different breakfast items. There is a movie theater across the street for entertainment. Very good value for your money.

I like the area that’s it I hate it’s no breakfast pool nothing to do no computer room just nothing to do and the manager took things over board about my stay when all the other employees told me what to do the manager comes and makes my stay the wrost I’ll never ever stay here again waste of my money

I booked a room for my birthday trip to Miami with booking.com at Laquinta in Cutler Bay. The total for my 4 day stay was 707.00. My stay was from 2/14-2/-18/24. I arrived and checked in on 2/14. While eating a plate of food i purchased i saw a cockroach on the dresser by the coffee maker which i killed and took a pic of. That night i went to bed and twice awakened to a bug on my pillow which i killed and took a picture of. I got out of my bed and slept the rest of the night in the chair in my room. I awakened the next day to multiple big bites. I made management aware of the issue and they moved me to another room, but the damage had already been done and the i suffered the rest of my stay because of it. The following night i couldn’t sleep because of the intense itching from the bites. I woke up at 2am in the morning to purchase Benadryl just to sleep. I have receipt for that. The bites have worsened with each day and it’s impossible to sleep unless given medication they will make me drowsy. Because i have to take night medicine to sleep, it threw my entire day off and i missed breakfast. The bites are getting worse. I think I’m going to the ER or urgent care so they can see them. The only reason i stayed was because i couldn’t get another reasonable room on Valentine Day weekend. My birthday trip was ruined. I spent money on a flight and 700.00 on a room just to get bit up by bed bugs and spend my entire trip inside miserable due to uncontrollable itching. My Birthday Trip was ruined due to what happened at my stay in LaQuinta. This has been the absolute worse hotel experience I’ve ever had, and it absolutely ruined my birthday. Florida City in an are with constant improvement and upgrades. They really takes pride in building and maintaining and improving Florida City. The streets are safe to walk at anytime and are lined with restaurants and shops. There are fun things to do in Florida City. Love it!! Getting around Florida City is easy, the city trolley is Free, Uber is every where, the bus way max can take you to the metro rail station where you can take the train to the airport. Freebee rides are available via the freebee app. Love South Florida and Florida City the people, the hospitality, the culture and the ease of getting around!

I appreciated the abundance of shopping options available. However, there was a noticeable language barrier, as many employees primarily spoke Spanish, and English-speaking staff were few and far between. Despite this, I found everyone to be exceptionally kind and helpful.
