It is the second time I stop at this hotel on a business trip to Mykolaiv and both times had a really good experience. Staff is kind and attentive, ready to help out with anything needed. Rooms and bathrooms are big and very clean. Beds are comfortable. The hotel has a small internal garden for guests to relax.

Really comfortable stay overall! Room was not very big but enough to be comfortable and bed more than adequate. Good temperature overnight. Bathroom conveniently organized. The structure takes an environmental view to toiletries so there are dispensers in the shower and next to the bathroom sink for soap and shower gel/shampoo. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and one can choose one beverage and two dishes out of a list that is diverse enough. I only drank one espresso and was good. Staff was kind and helpful. Would book again.

    Great location, very good value for money, and friendly staff doing an outstanding job under very stressful circumstances, i.e. the war. Hotel Helen is situated near the sea and very close to restaurants and bars. It also has a number of off-street parks and there is usually many on-street parks close by, suitable for even big vehicles (we had a truck).

    Mykolaiv is one of my favourite cities in Ukraine.

    Mykolaiv is one of my favourite cities in Ukraine. Despite the war in Ukraine, Mykolaiv lives its life. You still can find lot's of things to see and to do. There are many descent restaurants/pubs/bars around the city. Nice and welcoming city!

    The only reason to be here are the 2 nearby canyons, and historical building and man-made forest. Accommodation in Voznesensk is super helpful to avoid long drives. We went in fall so it was cold/cool and did not swim or fish.

    I was just delivering humanitarian aid and had to get out the next morning. I arrived in the evening and was glad to find accomodations after a long drive. The city water supply is not working at all. One needs bottled water to drink, shower, and use the toilet. I got lucky that there were two jugs of water provided. Fortunately, electricity and internet were working good. I also had decent parking and a code for inside the property. It is wartime there now, and I just dropped aid off the next morning and departed.

    The beautiful city in the southern Ukraine to spend a day or two. There are some picturesque views near the river, nice parks to walk and some museums to visit (incl. the fleet museum - overall Nikolayev (Mykolaiv in Ukrainian) used to be a center of shipbuilding). There are plenty of local and quite decent restaurants and cafes in the center, and prices are not high even by Ukrainian standards
