We were staying in the moment hotel, 6 person room. Great room. Kitchen downstairs well equipped. They let us use the infinity pool of the adjacent hotel free of charge. It's close to Taroko, but not many restaurant options nearby.

Beautiful hotel near the sea with wonderful swimming pool and beach front location. Excellent shuttle from train station. Very good communication. Delicious food. Outstanding staff.

Really near Xincheng TRA, like literally visible from the exit. We booked here cos we wanted to have easy access to buses headed to Taroko for our trails. It's quite a distance from xincheng old street (where most of the eateries are) but you'll find a lot of good food if you're willing to walk (10-15mins) towards the stretch near 7-eleven or family mart. STARRY Inn provides breakfast & they try not to repeat depending on the number of days you stay, do let them know of your food restrictions. Staff were extremely helpful and kind! The lady boss even ran to the train platform to catch us when she found my dad's iPod left in the room after our check out!!! So so thankful for their hospitality and kindness!

An amazing place. The host was very open and polite. When we had issues with the AC in one of the rooms, the moment they realised it could not be fixed on the same night, we got another room. The rooms themselves were very clean, bright and well-taken care of. The beds were fabulous.

I like the cleanliness and the brightness of the reception areas, as well as the room. The experience was more than I can ask for.

We loved how spacious and confortable our appartement was. The view is amazing and the sea is less than 2 min walk. We were lucky to come at a low season and really enjoyed our stay despite the Taroko park being closed due to the recent earthquake and typhon. The host was of great help arranging our commute while we did not have a car. Breakfast was delicious!

This place is about 15 minutes of walk from XinCheng Train Station. Other than this place does not provide breakfast everything else is great for the money. The room is pretty sizeable with very tall ceiling. The A/C is very quiet and the air is very comfortable for sleeping. Two large windows can be opened to let fresh air in. The hot shower has strong water pressure. The snack bar has cookies and instant noodle for FREE. They provide free water, free coffee, free toothbrush, etc. etc. They really have you covered. This place is only 5 minutes walk to the ocean/beach. Very quiet at night. Five minutes walk to the old town where you can find a few restaurants. You should also go to the roof of the building to watch the sunrise if weather permits. This is probably the tallest building in this whole neighborhood and it got really nice view to the east (Pacific Ocean) and west (the mountains). There is a bus stop literally at the front door where you can take #1129 to the Taroko National Park Visitor Center. To see the bus schedule, just zoom in on the Google Maps till you see the bus stop icon and click on it. Both buses #1129 & #1133 would take you to the visitor center. We took the 8:30 AM #1129 which took about 15-20 minutes to reach the visitor center for about a dollar for the bus fare. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested to visit Taroko National Park.
