Definitely recommend.The hotel was located in the caves of kapadokia stone built it was gorgeous. It was a beautiful place to stay with great staff, very kind and helpful. I did like everything but most of all, it’s the staff of the hotel and their breakfast! I only have good words for the staff, especially to Onur from the reception area who was very nice, friendly and approachable. Their staff, including the others, were so easy to speak with and they do really attend to your concerns and answer whatever questions you have. Staying at Seki was such a breeze from beginning to end. And the breakfast? The food options were healthy and so tasty! And they were all homemade, especially the pastries! OMG! I’ve been to many fancy hotels but Seki offers the best breakfast! Definitely something to look forward to every single morning! The staff running the breakfast area were also very nice and attentive! The tables, utensils, plates where foods are placed all look very clean and spotless, nothing is out of place! Kudos to the restaurant staff for such a well-maintained breakfast area and kitchen! We stayed in Cappadocia for 5 days and 9 days in Istanbul but with my experience in Seki, I would have gladly stayed there for 9 days instead of Istanbul!

Best location in Goreme, with magnificent views overlooking the town. The staff could not have been anymore helpful, they helped us with everything about our trip. Serkan at the hotel made our holiday amazing, helping with arranging transport and any help with trips or advice we needed. (Unusually the Balloon rides had been cancelled for 8 days running because of weather but we managed to get a place the first day it was available, all because of Serkan at Miras hotel - only for him I think we would have missed out on that once in a lifetime experience. We are so grateful). The hotel was so clean and comfortable and rooms were cleaned with real care every day. The breakfast was fit for a king and queen, fresh food and excellent cooking. Thanks to everyone at Miras, we will be talking about this trip for years to come!

This hotel is gorgeous and very authentic. It’s located in a small village, away from the mass tourism. Which is why it was perfect for our romantic getaway. The staff was super friendly and helpful, also with organising activities in the area. We stayed in the Roman King Suite, which is a magnificent room with hamam and jacuzzi area. Very charming and spacious. Would totally recommend. The pool area is super cozy and peaceful.

The room is very special and beautiful. Beautiful rooftop which has the best view of Cappadocia. We came here for pre wedding photo shooting. Unfortunately, there was no hot air balloon on the day we stayed. Staffs are nice. They arranged us to come again for the photo shooting on the next day which hot air balloon appeared. They also helped with the parking.

Tips of Goreme: - Schedule the balloon ride at least one hour before sunset. The red and green tour is a must to do also, but pay attention inside the stores they will guide you, it is everything more expansive in those stores. If you are looking some asian food go to Quick China, reasonable prices and good quality, if you looking for some nice steaks, go to Wood Fire Steakhouse.

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

I would easily spend about 3 days in Cappadocia, if not more. It is scenic, warm (in Oct), active, has amazing food, but a little touristy and a little commercial as a result. Just be aware so you're not disappointed. Goreme is crowded and commercial. Urugup and Uchisar may be better choices to stay in, especially if you are driving, plus a bit less touristy and crowded - more authentic Turkish hospitality. We spend time in all 3 towns and liked Goreme the least.

Great location for accessing the Cappadocia region, activities and trails. Good, little town center with a variety of cuisines to choose from. The Uchisar castle is at the heart of town and wirth a visit.
