Loved all of it. The staff, Malik and his team looked after us and made us feel like family. Close to town but secluded against the cliff, the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. Ideal for balloon watching. Tucked away like the perfect secret awaiting to be discovered.

1) The hotel was nearby at the restaurants, shops and the main road of Göreme 2) The rooms were very big and comfortable 3) The temperature in the room was perfect (outside temperature 0 degrees and the room was very warm) 4) Haroon was one of the best receptionists we have ever met. Impeccable hospitality. I do a fair amount of travelling and I have to say it was one of the most hospitable places I've ever stayed in. Had to plan a lot of activities for our stay for a bigger group of people and hotel staff kindly offered to help out with arranging these, offering different options and negotiating discounts, so really took a lot of planning off my shoulders. Everything from transfers to daily activities like hot air balloon flight were taken care of. Furthermore, speaking about the hotel itself - it was very clean, the breakfast was absolutely amazing, offering wide variety of different foods, they surprised me with a birthday cake and I have to say there are not a lot of cave hotels in Cappadocia where you can find a pool. The entire staff was accommodating, but special thanks goes to Habip for being extra attentive and genuine.

We booked two rooms in Cappadocia Seki Cave Hotel based on their good reviews and their close proximity to the balloons take off and landing site. This bed and breakfast hotel offers large superior cave rooms which are a cozy and warm with the best views. It was cold outside with strong winds but nice and toasty inside. Breakfast is home baked and prepared fresh daily. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall a great stay. Perfect for everyone unless one has mobility issues with steps.

We stayed at the hotel for three days. The staff was friendly and kind. The hotel is near the  best viewpoint of the town and only a two- or three-minute walk to it. We watched the hot air balloons every morning and drank beers on the patio, where we could see the sunset.

Tips of Goreme: - Schedule the balloon ride at least one hour before sunset. The red and green tour is a must to do also, but pay attention inside the stores they will guide you, it is everything more expansive in those stores. If you are looking some asian food go to Quick China, reasonable prices and good quality, if you looking for some nice steaks, go to Wood Fire Steakhouse.

Nice little town with loads of places to see but the theme is more or less the same, different shape stones in different places and valleys. The balloon experience, either in or off, is amazing to see.

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

I would easily spend about 3 days in Cappadocia, if not more. It is scenic, warm (in Oct), active, has amazing food, but a little touristy and a little commercial as a result. Just be aware so you're not disappointed. Goreme is crowded and commercial. Urugup and Uchisar may be better choices to stay in, especially if you are driving, plus a bit less touristy and crowded - more authentic Turkish hospitality. We spend time in all 3 towns and liked Goreme the least.
