I love this place, it has the most peaceful place to be. The bungalows are so nice but quite simple, but you have everything you need in there. The staff is incredible! You need a motorbike if you want to get to city centre, since this place is a little bit off. But as I said, it's amazing ❤️

This is a truly excellent place. A small boutique hotel for people who value a personal approach. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The breakfast must be one of the best I ever had, including various healthy options, while enjoying a magnificent view over the ocean. Great value for money. Hua hin is beautiful, just don’t stay at Luna Huts , that exactly what they are , huts . We found a gorgeous hotel, called white sands right on the sea front , no beach this time of year , but a beautiful garden, pool, so quiet , only 14 rooms , paradise . The full hotel name is Sea memories White sands beach , if you need more excitement just stay in the town centre . Look for hotels near the Hilton .

This place is a gem.

This place is a gem. We visited in early November and were lucky to witness the Loy Krathong Festival. It seems to be slightly off the tourist route but it has everything we needed for a very memorable stay. There is a super weekend night market where you can try a variety of local food and snacks. There are a number of good coffee shops and restaurants serving local and western food. The temple on the hill is well worth visiting (the views are fabulous) as is the beach at Ao Manao. You can hire bicycles (50 baht per day) and cycle round the headland to the beautiful Kao Tha Mong Lai Forest Park, near Ao Noi. Altogether, Prachuap Khiri Kan is a really lovely place to visit.

You will need transportation—a motor bike or car—to explore the area. We were able to rent a motorbike through Palm Pran Resort. The roads are calm and navigation was easy. It was a fun way to explore the beaches and forest parks.

Nice beach, some activities, Kajak, ATV, restaurant, massage places, some caves. Some hotels are specifically kids friendly. Good beach if you want to relax or for a family. Not really for party people, only if you bring everyone for your party yourself. Also bring Moskito spray!

The beachwork construction is a major problem at the moment. This may continue until the high season. There are almost no places to eat and the convenience store would not change a 1000 baht note. The beach is dirty compared to others in Prachuap.

Ban Krut is a seaside resort which I’m sure is usually very quiet. We visited for new year so it was full of local Thai families setting up to enjoy new year on the beach - lots of food stalls and great atmosphere - fireworks sat at a table on the beach with beers from local vendor was just perfect! We also visited the temple on the hill which was beautiful with gorgeous views We will definitely return - well worth 2.5hr trip from Hua Hi n

Much calmer than Pattaya, but also many beer bars, beach very nice, but need to be very careful on rocks! Very dangerous. Go a bit down the beach, then no problems; Food all over Hua Hin not the best, people very friendly

Prachuap is a delightful Thai town.

Prachuap is a delightful Thai town. The esplanade along the coast is super for walking, running, cycling. Ao Manao Bay is fantastic for chilling in a beach chair, zipping on a banana boat, or eating good Thai food. The weekend market has many different types of food and cheap clothes and accessories. There are also a couple of quality non Thai restaurants in the town, back from the coast and some good coffee shops. The temple on the hilltop is worth walking up, except for the monkeys. Ao Noi Bay and cave temple is really good too. Lots to see and do in Prachuap.

If you are a fan of sunsets and are not an early riser (to catch the sunrise), you should be on the opposite coast instead of here. If you are, however, an early riser, the beach here is very nice and the sunrise is to be anticipated with each day bringing a new experience. The resort properties here are generally nice but beginning to show the inevitable decline of western facilities in a tropical setting. As such, they are substantially cheaper than the 4 and 5-star resort properties, so if economy is your goal, these properties fit the bill.

Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon. Make a boat trip at sunset (starting point directly in front of the homestay). The lake with thousands of lotus flowers and birds is phantastic. They offer a 150.- baht dinner in Thai style (a bit oily, but good and plenty).
