The room was nice, kinda restricted view, small cozy pool, nice bathtub. I made a surprise birthday for my husband, the decorations were beautiful, the cake looked and tasted so good. Daily refill for the bar, free buggy to every spot in the hotel, very helpful and cheerful staff. There was a Starbucks on the rooftop with magnificent view.

Staying at the Pacific Club resort was a beautiful experience. Good position, a few minutes walking for karon beach and, if you want to go around with a scooter, the hotel rent motorbikes with a good price (no deposit needed). The personel was very kind and and always available to every types of needs. Wonderful breakfast, expecially the breakfast boxes, if you can't eat in the hotel.

Idyllic Island of International Fame

Thailand’s largest island, Phuket has a mountainous landscape leading down to lush, green palms, warm, turquoise seas and soft, golden sands. Patong is its most developed resort and is well known for outrageous nightlife. There are lots of clubs, bars and restaurants in the main town and it also has a fantastic beach lined with hotels and resorts.

To the south is Karon, home to the 2nd largest beach and offshore coral reefs that are good for snorkelling. Quieter Kamala also has coral reefs and good surfing conditions, as do the curved beaches at Kata.

The island’s airport is in the north and there are lots of Phuket hotels near the airport in Mai Khao and Nai Yang, where sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. In Bangtao to the south there is a great range of Phuket hotels with private pools on Booking.com, while around the corner in exclusive Surin there are often typical Thai long boats bobbing up and down in the rolling waves.

On the other side of the island Chalong has an impressive Buddhist temple and is a popular spot for kitesurfing. Neighbouring Panwa has shallow water coral and the Phuket Aquarium to explore. The Phi Phi islands are off Phuket’s eastern shores and their idyllic scenery makes wonderful day trips.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We got an upgrade to 2 bedroom suite at a discount with direct pool access away from the crowds near to Bodega restaurant. It is a quiet area great for the elderly. The buggy service was responsive. We were worried about mosquitoes because of the lakes but this issue was less than expected. The breakfast at Bogeda is much less hectic and a lot quieter than Market Place, and the food presentation appears better. Later realized that it is only for guests who are booked in certain rooms. The beach is long and the sand is very fine without broken or significant washed up debris, which afflict many beaches elsewhere. The waves can be strong though. The suite was clean, large and very convenient located with a separate dining and living room . It has a fairly large balcony directly accessing the pool. We found that we didn't need to venture out of the resort. The complimentary boat and kayak facility allowed for connection to other lakes and resorts. The entire complex of lakes and resorts makes this place much large than it appears. There is a free shuttle service to nearby shopping areas and shops

special thanks to hotel staff… all of them, all of them are incredibly kind, helpfull and positive. i stayed 1 night at hotel because of flight arrengements. room was very clean and comfortable. hotel’s localisation was very good, just 3 mins to Patong beach and major facilities. Very big and modern hotel. The room was a little bit noisy but didn’t bother me at all. They give us a shower opportunity before we live so we enjoyed the beach at the last day of our Phuket stay. Thank you guys, you are all very good people and very professional and i’ll come back to hotel again.

The hotel is absolutely stunning and nestled in the mountain cliff area away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket, which worked for us. The staff were so attentive and very friendly. The room is also beautifully decorated and very spacious. The bathroom and dressing area is very large! The food was fantastic, the Thai restaurant is a must, and we did the cooking class, which is an amazing experience. They also gave us a goody bag, which was such a lovely touch. Overall 10/10 experience.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom accommodation with a great view. All rooms had been very clean and in a luxury style. The beds were very cosy, with very comfy pillows. The entire hotel area is in best maintenance. We loved the Italian restaurant. Breakfast in both locations were delicious, with a huge variety. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Price/value is very good, we will stay again.

Fantastic host, the property is well-kept, and you'll have to leave your shoes when going inside - though it is spotless inside the hotel. It was nice and lovely.

It was nice and lovely. There were sun beds you could rent, and it could get a bit crowded, especially in the middle of sunny days. There were jet skis and parasailing activities to do on the beach, along with the possibility of ordering food and drinks. The only slight downside was the fact that every couple of minutes, local sellers would walk by and try to convince you to buy their handmade products, and would continue to come back even after you said no once.

IT IS HAVING COLONEAL STYLED BUILDINGS AND SHOP HOUSES. WE WERE THERE FOR ONE SKETCHING EVENT ASIA LINK SKETCH WALK 2025. WONDERFUL HELPFUL PEOPLE. VERY NEAT AND CLEAN TOWN. ENJOYED SKETCHING THE TEMPLES , SHIPS, SHOP HOUSES.

I loved my stay at Chanelay garden resort hotel where staff were amazing especially Gain who made my stay exceptional. She was incredible helpful and her professional manner and attitude made me want to come back to the hotel again.

Sun (the manager) and his amazing team treat you like family...

Sun (the manager) and his amazing team treat you like family instantly and you honestly feel that the hotel is your Thai home. My family and I will never forget the wonderful facilities, food and warm feeling we received from everybody at the Pacific Club. My sons wanted me to mention Ron and Joso who made their stay by always stopping for a chat. I could not recommend to a family a better hotel in Phuket. Each evening you can ask reception to organise a tuk tuk to take you to Karon main strip for a couple of pound and on a Tuesday and Friday there is a fantastic night market at the temple. Well worth checking out. The best places to eat (apart from thd lovely menu at the hotel) are the tiny restaurants down the side streets. The ones with 2 or 3 tables and plastic chairs where you can see the chef. We ate some of the best food of our lives for unbelievable prices. Leaving a tip in these places goes a long way!

Beach is awful as it is full of trash washed up from the sea and I would not recommend staying here for a beach holiday but ok for a night if you are going to the airport. There are good cafes and restaurants and the two hotels we stayed at were very good.

Kamala beach is a quieter option of Phuket.

Kamala beach is a quieter option of Phuket. It is a lovely beach with lots to do and plenty of places to eat. A lot of the trips have other solo travellers and the staff are helpful by taking photos of you if you like. It’s easy to get around in Kamala beach as it is fairly central. I lived the restaurants on the seafront Bella Vista was one of my favourites for breakfast and lunch but didn’t find a favourite for dinner.

Room for improvement to be clean and well organised to manage shops, restaurants, and massages to welcome tourists from around the world. Now is dirty not only because of trash from the waves but also on the beach with all shops - does not clean their own area. Recommend Bangtao Beach from the middle up towards the north to Layan Beach.

I have been going to Rawai for 25 Years.

I have been going to Rawai for 25 Years. I even bought land there. Its great as there are many beaches and restaurants, with Nai Harn very close a 5 Star Beach. There are many places of interest nearby, unfortunately Big Buddha is currently closed. One thing to note now is that the Banks won't let you take money from your Debit Card, Credit cards are O.K though, but I don't use them. Every where uses cash so make sure you take plenty of cash to last for your holiday. The ATM machine withdrawals will cost you £10 a withdrawal with a limit of £200. Average Restaurant meal costs around £25 for 3 people inc. soft drinks. I always hire a car, but services have improved with regular electric buses and always taxis/tuktuks,

It was a very refreshing stay in the property which was full of greenery and good views of beach from the huge balcony attached to the suite. Did not want to leave the property so early and definitely want to come back again.

Recommendation for restaurants = "My Front Yard" is a new location with several different types of restaurants. Ate at three of them and the food and service was excellent. Recommend "Home Sweet Home" as the close by go to coffee shop.
