Very good location, the staff is incredible. You can rent motorbike upon arrival which is a huge advantage. Also, they offer pier transfer for free. 🙏 We didn’t ask for daily cleaning still the ladies gave us fresh water every single day.

I recommend this hotel! It’s brand new, super clean (which was really important to me), and just overall a great place to stay. It’s not right on the main street, but it’s only a short walk from everything and if you’ve got a scooter, it’s perfect! The girls who work at the hotel and even their taxi driver are the nicest!

All staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great price for the room and free drinking water on every floor. The Diving is class, first experience with Raid instructors and new very well kept equipment. We took our explorer 30 course here and had a divemaster to ourselves. He explaned the new equipment very well and our divemaster James was excellent, really focusing on making us comfortable during dives and giving tips on how to make our dives more effective. Definitely feel more confident diving after this course, it's a higher level of learning we noticed, more in depth. Nick at reception really took the time to inform us on diving, the hotel and other questions we had, thank you! The room was spacious and nice view and plenty space on the balcony. Nice chill beach and bar, great for sunsets! Definitely recommend! Thanks to everyone in the hydronats team, we had a great stay! From the Swedish/Irish couple.

The staff at Sunrise are very friendly and helpful. This was an inexpensive stay that provided me with a clean room and all necessary amenities. Location is convenient access to the pier , water taxis and places the eat. Side note - the staff is caring towards the stray kitties and dogs which is a major bonus for me ❤️

Well, everything was incredible. From the moment we booked the hotel to the moment we left, everything exceeded our expectations. This family-run hotel reached out to us after booking to confirm our stay (6+ months in advance). Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly smiles and very helpful tips on what to see and where to find things on Koh Tao. They sent us a message in the app with everything from viewpoints, restaurants, and local services we might be interested in. The room was very clean, the balcony had a nice cozy feel to it, and the laundry service offered was efficient. I can't speak highly enough about the cafe tied to the hotel. This entire hotel is family-run including the cafe. Their menu is excellent and offers a variety of homemade meals to cater to everyone. The food was fresh and the croissants...well, the croissants are some of the best we've ever had (especially the chocolate croissants)! Their location is ideal for couples or families looking to get away from the party beaches while still only being a 15 minute walk away from everything. Our 2 week trip across Thailand was made memorable largely from The Big Tree Boutique Hotel. If, and when, we come back I will certainly be staying here on Koh Tao.
