I had a wonderful stay at the Mar Ozo Hotel. The girls at reception were so nice, kind, and extremely helpful, which made check-in a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a really nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water available. I also appreciated the little details like water in the fridge and being well taken care of while waiting for the room to be ready. Overall, an excellent stay – highly recommended!

    A real gem in Koh Tao. People write a lot about stairs and insects. If you want a classy stay in Koh Tao, book this resort. The place is amazing. The cottages are filtered during everyday cleaning, so we had no single mosquito in our room. The stairs are not challenging either, but they have cottages by the beach as well. The restaurant is outstanding, it has an amazing variety of bbq seafood for normal prices. But the wine selection is terrible for a restaurant of this quality. Please, get something else than Jacob’s creek and Mon Clair, those are not wines. The bbq seafood set is heavenly. We ordered it 3 nights in a row. Highly recommended. The beach has beautiful big private sunbeds. The staff is service minded, and they will help you with both scooter rental and snorkeling trips. Otherwise conveniently located. Cannot get a better resort on the island.

    Great stay, located walking distance to Mae Haad (via the beach / street parallel to the beach). Breakfast with a fantastic view onto the beach and the pier at the distance. The hotel has a little beach alcove that is lovely for swimming and light snorkel next to the rocks. The staff was very helpful and kind, everything was great. Our bungalow was perfectly situated near the pools and the reception which was handy. That made the walk to the breakfast very short too. The room itself was lovely and comfortable. They provided us with beach towels, beach mats, sarong and fabric bag to use during our stay at our leasure.

    The views were outstanding, the staff very friendly and helpful. The food already in the fridge was so lovely and the leaflets for food takeaway made our lives really easy. Everything had been thought of which was great. C14 is actually a 3 bedroom villa. 2 bedrooms are in one part with a joint bathroom - ideal for families with Little ones and 1 bedroom is separate with its own bathroom. There was so much outdoor space, the dining table in particular was a beautiful space for the evening.

    Place was amazing. Picked up by the free shuttle taxi from the ferry boat and taken right to reception. Reception was very helpful and friendly in giving us a speedy check in and helping with any queries. Room was such great value for money and felt really clean and nice. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Location was also super.

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in...

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.

    We loved Koh Tao.

    We loved Koh Tao. Sairee beach is a great area but you can stay anywhere and still have access as it's such a small island. We took a boat trip out to the island for snorkelling which was fab. Don't book in advance. Go onto the beach and haggle with the locals to take you over as it works out so much cheaper especially if you are a family. Highly recommend breakfast at Mango Garden...go hungry!! All In all a beautiful island and great for families as not too crazy busy!

    I enjoyed Koh Tao.

    I enjoyed Koh Tao. It is bigger with many more shops and restaurants than I expected. It is clean. The swimming and snorkeling were fabulous. Exploring the cafes and restaurants up high in the mountains is well worth while. People are kind and friendly.
