When I arrived I was greeted by a gentleman who spoke perfect English, which isn't a common thing in Thailand but very pleasant to have. I was able to rent a scooter from the hotel right away and made it easy to go to stores and explore the island. The room was very spacious and shower was actually made for the taller people and had comfortable pressure. The bed was a little bit on the harder side, but not like concrete which I have read somewhere. It was still comfortable and pillows were also very good. The curtains were decent and kept the light out properly. The balcony was huge and for me being on the third floor, was able to see the sea and, if the weather would have been better, likely to have seen the sunset for there if I wanted to check it out from the room. Swimming pools (24/7 accessible ) were very good and also had a massage, which was very nice as well! Overall I would highly recommend people staying here as this place is amazing and also located in a Central spot on the West Side of the koh Lanta island. People who work here are incredibly friendly and would like to thank the people working in the accommodation for this! They have that true Thai friendlyness which I sometimes had missed in the Southern parts of Thailand 😊

The resort is beautifully located in a street with many shops, 7/11 and massage salons. Also directly on the beach. The resort is clean, very luxurious, and the staff is amazing. It’s a new resort and you can sense they made the right choices. The bed is so comfy aswell. There is currently no pool, but you can use the one from the sister property. Only 2 min walk and it’s a nice pool. We have seen where the new pool will be build, in the middle of the resort and it will become quite big! Linda helped us with everything we needed and she also booked a snorkel excursion to Koh Rok & Koh Ha for us. We would recommend everyone to do this excursion, it’s amazing.

Nice owner, nice staff. Central but quiet location, modern and clean rooms. You can hire scooters on site and there is a communal area which is constantly being expanded. Had a great stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

The kind of place the expression 'heavenly' was made for. I don't say this lightly but I think this place is one of the most wonderful hotels Ive ever been to so much so we changed our booking and stayed longer. Im almost loathed to write this review as Im hoping to keep this place my little secret but everything about it from start to finish was beyond exceptional. From what was a very fortuitous last minute booking I consider myself to now be a 'loyal Layana fan' and am planning another trip or two back next year. This place has a very boutique personable relaxed vibe. You can tell from the moment they place the 'layana lei' on you this place is not a chain and is being managed to very high expectations & all is under the careful eye of the amazing Franck who is quite the holiday tastemaker! Everything has been thought about from start to finish- even at the airport you are taken care of! Make no mistake this place is high end and delightfully with none of the gauche that some high end hotels can sometimes have. Really outstanding. There is a very laid back, cool but without being pretentious vibe here - the staff are beyond wonderful & theres tasteful, beautiful decor everywhere you look. The hotel is in a lovely spot in Koh Lanta & has two gorgeous infinity pools overlooking the ocean- one is even saltwater. The rooms are big & very comfortable. We particularly loved the linens & the balcony & lovely gardens outside it was all so super peaceful. Great location too the hotel backs onto on a long white sandy beach with loads of little places to eat and get a massage along it if you want to venture outside (which we rarely did!) The food was really good here, we loved the menus & the breakfasts were fabulous theres nothing you cant get. Theres also a really great gym that was very 'Third Space' with lovely air con in case you need to work off the magnificent brekkie.

Staff were all helpful and friendly consistently, patient and attentive. June, the manager took care of booking and all typical requirements consistently, and provided extra care for us elderly couple. We were in one of the quietest cabins at the rear of the site, with more forest cover too to see wildlife, mostly monkeys and birds, and 2 resident cats! Rooms nearest the pool and beach, ideal for families, occasionally noisier of course, but not too seriously. Huge beach is very quiet. Food was excellent with wide choice of Thai and European meals at reasonable prices, with good cheap beer, but rather more expensive than usual cocktails. Wide choice at breakfast too, included in the price. The site is at the southern more forested and less commercialised end of the island, and the National park is a worthwhile day out at the southern tip, though the walk on the nature trail is difficult.

The beachfront hotel offered exceptional comfort and a stunning ocean view, surrounded by lush gardens. Our balcony included two beach chairs for relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze. The staff was remarkably friendly and we enjoyed the delightful breakfast. The General Manager personally engaged with guests during breakfast, fostering excellent relationships. We were grateful for the room upgrade during our extended stay, which enhanced our already wonderful experience at the hotel.

Our daughter especially enjoyed all the toys, the pool and lots of mates to play with. We prolonged our stay due to its ideal conditions for families. Special thanks to the restaurant staff and Init who helped us change our dates and was wonderful about it.

Beachfront resort property in a quiet part of Sala Dan. Lots of cheap restaurants close by on the main road and other shops and bars along the beach all within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was extensive with hot and continental options. Rooms are clean, spacious and made up everyday. We loved Southern Lanta so much we extended for another 4 nights

We enjoyed the laidbackness of Koh Lanta. Klong Dao beach is recommended for families wanting to relax, but also close to island tours, Phi Phi islands and more. Klong Khong beach is recommended more for backpackers, and had a lively nightlife with the beach bars (freeway, and freedom bar were our favorites for the sunset) it was overall very relaxing, with very good local restaurants and plenty to do. We wished we could have stayed longer to explore more, it was an absolute paradise on Earth.

Plenty of tour providers to keep your days well occupied (shoutout to Goodtime travel for being the best service I’ve seen in a long time). Highly recommend Mons cooking school too - so much fun. Take a trip down to beautiful beach for the most crystal clear water.

Various secured beaches, lots of greenery but also a little run down in places. Trips to Koh Rok and Koh Haa excellent for snorkelling. Nothing to see in sea here sadly. Lovely food from many restaurants. Klong Nin I felt was the perfect choice in middle of island, quite but lots to see. Easy to explore but tuk tuk more exp. National park and monkeys worth seeing as is old town. Drove to Lanta Noi across bridge, very rustic and traditional. I’d highly recommend spending some time here

Beautiful small island with many beaches to swim.

Beautiful small island with many beaches to swim. Lovely restaurants. Small & safe enough to hire a scooter & ride around the island. Lovely old town which is laid back & relaxing. Good shopping. Go in high season as many places close in low season.
