Everything. This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in, period. Our stay was fabulous. The staff is so friendly, so attentive, and very respectful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. On top of it we received an upgrade for the room.They just topped it off with all the details: every day fresh water, every day your room gets cleaned, the breakfast was the best we've had throughout our journey in Thailand, they even "design" the scrambled eggs on your plate with a little fresh flower, they bring you fresh fruit to the pool. They take the leaves out of the pool like the moment it drops ;) Also the other food and cocktails are very good. They help you find whatever you're looking for in terms of daytrips, transport, etc. What a lovely hospitable team of staff they have, they really engage in a real conversation! And besides that the hotel lies in a great location on walking distance to the centre of Chiang Rai and the Saturday market is around the corner of the hotel. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat, and when we return to Thailand, we will return to Mora Hotel.

We really loved this place. Specially the owner (or the manager) who is at the front desk goes above and beyond to help their customer. He has this hand written paper with instructions on everything that you need to see, restaurants that he recommends, street food markets & etc.. Also he helped us arrange this day tour (1000 THB/PP) which covers literally everything. Since it was raining, it was easier than renting a scooty. The room it was spacious and room service was there everyday. Rest of the staff is also very nice and kind. There are free coffee available in the morning near front desk.

We stayed in a mountain Suite. It was fabulous. . Wonderful room exceptional size with massive bathroom bath and separate shower. The most amazing views. . Breakfast outstanding with so much choice . Dining outstanding too . Staff extremely attentive and always going that extra mile. Nothing too much trouble. Definitely will be going back four nights just not long enough. Very secluded location but all part of the charm.

In my experience of travelling 7 countries, this might be best travel budget hotel i ever visited. Super functional, super clean and the perfect location. I always wanted a cheap and clean hotel without extras, since me and my wife just use a hotel to sleep. We always found good dorms or bad hotels that suits our requirement. This is my favorite place to stay in Chiang Rai, my family and I have been coming here for the past year on most weekends. The staff are amazing and the price is great for all the facilities you have at your disposal, pool,gym,breakfast etc. Pimann Inn will remain our Chiang Rai home away from home.

Not a great selection of restaurants and not a beautiful city. The white and Blue temples are worth a visit, but the tour of the Golden Triangle is over hyped. It’s a full day tour filled with trivial things just to finally arrive at a view point to see Myanmar and Laos across the river. If staying in Chiang Mai, a trip to see the White and Blue temple with a return to Chiang Mai would be of greater value.

I ❤️ Mae Salong. The clean crisp air and many local ethnic groups make this a great place to visit Love staying at Shin Sane GH or Little House GH. Each still offer great prices for cottages and Shin Sane still has the original rooms from wooden house and at a shoestring price for this region Love eating at Yunnan noodles down the road a bit past 7 Eleven and Salima’s. There’s a pure veg place heading towards the cathothic school nearby.

It's a small town compared to Chiang Mai.

It's a small town compared to Chiang Mai. Very quiet and with little nightlife, which is why I liked it. The night market is really well-stocked, with live performances sometimes, good prices, and you'll find some nice things to take home. It's well-connected to all the attractions. Obviously, tuk-tuks are more expensive than buses, but the drivers are sometimes friendly.

A great city to do a border run, particularly if you stay at Fortune Riverview Hotel Chiang Khong - which seems to be the nicest accommodation in the area. We enjoyed our stay here quite a bit and would return.

Acceptable for one night. You need a car to get to the hotel. The rooms are not soundproof. Quite loud from the traffic. The hotel is located directly on the main street. The breakfast is not bad and with good coffee to make yourself with a coffee machine.

My highlight was the Hill tribe trek. The guide was excellent. I learnt a lot about the people, lifestyle and customs of the local people. Coming from the city, it made me appreciate the basics in life such as preparing lunch with bamboo and banana leaves.

The shower head was to 50% clogged, and the water was deflected sideways splashing all over. This was the case in both the rooms I had booked! The TV remote control did not work, as the batteries inside were corroded and bloated badly.
