The pelican filled island of Sanghomar and the mangroves of Javier. The nice ice cold drinking water at one of the stores in this village, not to mention the two 'made to be' cold codys beer I never expected but had in the island. The warm reception at a rest hole by an artistic local soul. The dive in the Atlantic from this island. A 13,000 cfa per kg of fresh sea lobsters for dinner. If you want to explore further afield there are lots of trips and excursions planned for you and are all excellent value for money! We enjoyed walking with Joseph and learning about the medicinal qualities of the trees and shrubs, and a horse and cart ride to 3 villages on the island. We also enjoyed a boat trip to see the pelicans and herons coming in to roost at the end of the day. An amazing place, peaceful, quiet, relaxing, a real oasis. Very clean, great kitchen, you can do trips from the place or just lie in a hammock, go for a swim, watch the crabs, read a book, observe the sunrise (which is truly amazing at this place).
