Very diverse breakfast, lots of options, nice atmosphere with a lot of homemade things to eat. They even had Kaiserschmarrn and homemade crumble cake. Hotel has a welcoming ambiance, we have liked a lot the interior design. Would come again, everything was exceptional.

It is a great city to visit for a few days.

It is a great city to visit for a few days. Easy to explore, friendly and not overcrowded. Just walk around and explore the streets, squares, markets, riverbank, galleries and castle. An ideal location also to visit other places in Slovenia

Slovenia is great.

Slovenia is great. Alps on the east, mediterranean sea on the west, same country, distinctively different climate on each end of the country. Beautiful nature, castles, lovely valleys with rivers and waterfalls, unspeakably beautiful historic castles etc. We stayed in Domzale only, did not go out to the city, but the location is great. Just a stone's throw to the motorway and only 20min to the airport. Very convenient location

The room was great and everything was clean.

The room was great and everything was clean. You can relax here, the location is not in the capital but if you want to explore everything you can stay there ... the road is connected to almost all of slovenia. the staff were courteous and friendly. they were very helpful against our needs... Thanks for all❤

Arrivals could be better - taxi apps didn't seem to operate from the airport - my ride in was probably a bit non legit and I stuck to the cost the apps said. 53 euros cash. I stayed in Old Town - pedestrianised - so a short walk from taxi drop off - same in reverse for departures. Uber would pick up to go to the airport c.41 euros. Eminently walk-able. All the 'sights' are close to the river and surrounds, Old Town is reminiscent of Zagreb. Super exhibit at the Jakopic Gallery [star of the city]. National Gallery is good too, though be sure to have ticket handy as they seem to ask about 5 times every 20 paces - quite annoying. Try out the Nostalgia of Route 66 Bar. It is a reasonably priced place for food, drink and the day-to-day. Far less expensive than more Northern and Central EU cities, more expensive than S.E.Asia. In between cost wise. 5 euros kebab, 8 euros entry to National Gallery. 3 full days is plenty adequate, 7 days would get boring. Could certainly be a location for a regular short city break if flight times were more convenient. [Helsinki is easier for me] Most everyone was respectful and polite and it is easy to spot where the trouble would come from. Stroll around the river and Old Town after dark and you will be fine I think.

City size was just right for 3 days of sightseeing.

City size was just right for 3 days of sightseeing. City was clean & safe. Sites were very historical & intresting. There is no need to use public transportation since it is all within walking distance. I highly recommend the restaurant Makalonca for the best pancakes I ever had!
