- From US$265.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 241 reviewsBeautiful location with lots of activities - mini golf, alpaca feeding, walking trails etc. Nice for grown ups, though it is very popular with families. Very good breakfast and the on-site restaurant for dinner was good, but not outstanding for the price. Beautifully stylish interiors and overall a relaxing place to stay. Easy to get there without a car (bus stop to Stockholm Slussen outside) and easy to travel to surrounding towns by bus too.Guest review byFlorenceSweden
- From US$104.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 244 reviewsClean and spacious accommodation. Family of 4 with a dog. Had a great time. Loads of space and the separate bedroom for the parents in the cabin we stayed was ideal. Spend New Year's here, decided to stay an extra night but unfortunately our cabin was booked for that extra night but the staff were great to sort us with another cabin for the extra night with no issue. Will definitely be making the trip back in the Summer.Guest review byDaneIreland

The Gamla Stan ("Old Town") area was my favorite area.
The Gamla Stan ("Old Town") area was my favorite area. Great for walking with lots of great narrow, cobbled streets and old, interesting architecture. Loads of fun shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the Vasa Museum, Skansen, and the National Art Gallery. Touring the fabulous City Hall is a great experience.Guest review byPaulUnited States - 6.0

Prefer arriving in Arlanda compared to other airports close to Stockholm as it's easy access into Stockholm. However on our arrival the tracks were down making it impossible to take either the train or Arlanda express - fortunately we had arranged stay in local hotel but pity anyone who wasn't in the same position.Guest review byMargaretaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

great university town with lots of history. go to Gustavium -university museum - before your trip to the mounds as that had more artifacts and better explanation of excavations. Small museum at Mounds was also worthwhile.Guest review byHenryUnited States - 10.0

The unique architecture style, well preserved.
The unique architecture style, well preserved. A combination of old and new. People's diversity and nature! The down side: there are many things in construction or under reparations at the moment. I believe the government should invest more as Örebro has the potential to become a 'Disney Wonderland' kind of adventure.Guest review byEliana Van de CraatsNetherlands - 8.0

The Lars Lerin art gallery has beautiful paintings of Swedish landscapes by him. Boat trips from Innre Hamn (Inner Harbour) take you on trips out to islands and around town on the river for the price of a bus fare. Only in the summer months though. Walk along the river for beautiful views, see the old church, town hall etc. Plenty of cafes and restaurants especially around the town square. Have a coffee on the Stadshotell roof terrace with lovely views across the river.Guest review byHelenaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A quiet and safe city with a lot of immigrants. Nice city center with a promenade along the sea that looks like a river. Beautiful surroundings with lakes. I was impressed by "Torekällberget", which is not promoted anywhere, but is better than "Skansen" (which is too expensive). Good public transport network.Guest review byZlatkoSlovenia - 8.0

It's a bit like being in the suburbs, but it is still easy to get about as the bus leaves from outstide the hotel it is only about 10 mins or so to get to Upplands-Väsby train station. I took a train from there to get to Stockholm city centre (getting off at Stockholm City). The travel ticket allows you 75 mins of travel time so the bus ticket and be used again (including on the train for 75 mins). Note: Stockholm city is literally a couple of mins walk to another station in the city centre called Stockholm Centrum (Stockholm Central Station). So, folk coming in on other train networks would get off there).Guest review bySamuelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Stockholm was wonderfull Ticked all the boxes, historic, great food, good coffee, pretty easy to get around. Public transport was fast and on time (but beware of construction causing some bus stops to be shifted like Slussen). Do a walking tour when you arrive, good to set the scene. Skansen was awesome - loads to see especially all the animals (bears, wolverines, Lynx, owls and farm yard animals. The Vasa Museum is a must (a 400 year old ship recovered from the bottom of the harbour and on full display and it is huge). just explore the different parts of the city on foot. it's a beautiful place. 3 days (4 mights) minimum. add an extra day to see Uppsala (the old capital) about 90 mins north of Stockholm.Guest review byTimAustralia
