- From US$391.40 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 542 reviewsWe stayed at Patatran Village Hotel in "Captain’s Room" which was the only accommodation in the main building with the reception and restaurant, the other accomodations they have are in some buildings across the street which we didn't stay or visit at all. So my review might be above the average for this hotel, since "Captain’s Room" was really the most unique accommodation we’ve been so far! "Captain’s Room" was on the highest floor with large windows , 3 balconies, with almost a 360 degree view. So now, the unique thing about this room was that the view to the ocean gave the feeling that we were on a deck of a ship, and adding to that the room decoration was specific to a ship with beautiful museum-like objects. We celebrated my wife’s birthday there and it was an incredible experience, we had amazing sunrises, sunsets, dramatic storm, such lovely moments! The access to the idyllic beach, pool, restaurant was easy, just down the stairs. The staff was really nice! So many incredible spots to have the meals. We could even choose to have the dinner right on the beach, just that it was a stormy evening that day. Since it was my wife's birthday they arranged a festive table for us at breakfast and dinner. Our booking was with half board included and the variety of food was great, we especially loved the breakfast. We had so much fun on the pool and also great spots for pictures on the beach and everywhere else. The beach is one of the most beautiful on the island, too bad the storm came with some big waves so we couldn't fully enjoy swimming in the ocean. I’ll just leave some pictures, because there aren't enough words for such a dream place. One of a kind experience!Guest review byRaduRomania
- From US$1,580.67 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 771 reviewslocation: very close to la Digue port, tell them when you are arriving and they will pick you up from the port. You dont need to carry anything. they will transport your luggage directly to your room and you will be transported to the hotel in a "golf cart". check in/facility: bit time consuming check in, but you get fresh drink, beautiful place to wait close to the check in desk, but we arrived before 2PM(around 12.30), the rooms are usually not ready before 2pm, but you can start using the facilities on the hotel. beautiful swimming pool, chilling area and bar. Great breakfast and generelly lunch menu. Room: Super beautiful room, spacious, i think its the biggest hotel in la Digue. Luxury feeling, bathroom is "outside", but private, direct entrance to the bathroom from the hallway, so you can wash/clean your "sandy" clothes or body before stepping into the bedroom, clean bathroom area. fantastic balcony with beanbags to relax. you will see some day gecko in the room(green lizard), common issue in seychelles in general, but we werent bothered. staff: super friendly staff, they helped us with anything. check out: checkout is early, before 12AM, but you can still use the facilities after check out. they also provide shower on the hotel, so in case you have a late boat/transport further, you can still enjoy the hotel facilities/ La digue and come back take a shower before leaving the hotel. they provide you shuttle service in golf car back to the boat-port including picking up your luggage from your room!Guest review byFarhanNorway
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 363 reviewsEverything was great! The room was very spacious and clean. The AC worked perfectly. There is kettle and basic cutlery if you want to eat at the room. There is plenty of seating area in front of the house, in the common ground and in the room. The property features a small shop (super convenient for cold beer and late afternoon snacks), a takeaway restaurant and a normal restaurant. The breakfast is everything you need to start the day: lots of fruits, butter and jams with toasted bread, eggs, coffee and tea, and homemade fruit drinks (the host is amazing in mixing up different herbs and fruits). It is not buffet style but served at the table, so it was always perfectly fresh and sized. The host is lovely and very kind. Very knowledgably about everything you need to see and do on the island, and is happy to help with anything you need (bike rental, taxi, boat excursions, other island excursions...). La Digue is very small, you get everywhere by bike. Because the roads leading the property are completely flat (which is not the case throughout the island), the location is perfect. Near to shops, most popular restaurants and the best beaches (and the endemic paradise birds Black Flycatcher live literally across the road!).Guest review byKristinaSlovenia

So easy to spend a few days here, visiting as many beaches as possible via bike, walking or boat or just relaxing in the garden of our guest house. It was not as expensive as we were expecting based on what others had told us; the food was delicious wherever we ate and there are two well stocked supermarkets for snacks and drinks!Guest review bySamAustralia - 10.0

Great island - really laid back and everyone on bicycles to get around. I did the hike to Anse Marron which was difficult due to the terrain but totally in nature and the natural surroundings - I loved it. This is definitely not for the faint of heart as we were in caves waiting for the tide to go out with 10 seconds to get up a rock kind of deal but man it was cool. For a longer Seychelles stay I would stay here for sure.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
La Digue is an absolute gem in the Seychelles and one of the...
La Digue is an absolute gem in the Seychelles and one of the most picturesque islands we’ve ever visited. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, where time seems to slow down. The island is small and easy to explore—bicycles are the main mode of transport, adding to its laid-back charm. The beaches are truly breathtaking, with crystal-clear turquoise waters and powdery white sand. Anse Source d'Argent, in particular, lives up to the hype—it's like stepping into a postcard. Beyond the beaches, the island has lush greenery, granite rock formations, and a warm, welcoming local culture. What makes La Digue even more special is how untouched and authentic it feels. There are no big resorts or heavy crowds, just a perfect blend of nature, tranquility, and friendly people. Whether you're relaxing on the beach, cycling around the island, or watching the sunset by the ocean, La Digue is a place you’ll never forget.Guest review byDecy GPhilippines
