We had a truly amazing stay here. The rooms are spacious, the staff is absolutely wonderful and the food...wow! The entire meal time is an experience by itself. The place is central. The water is hot and the rooms are clean. We didn’t have breakfast. But I truly believe the staff makes the stay and Eric was genuinely incredible! Super helpful and communicative even before we arrived and assisted us with everything we needed with genuine care. We enjoyed our stay.

The location and gardens are amazing and the staff very professional, friendly and helpful. Their chef is a wizard in the kitchen and the meals expertly prepared. And then there is the resident fur baby - Sparky, who welcomes you to the property! The Lodge is also conveniently located close to the Volcanoes National Park and there are little touches such as preparing snacks to take with when you go gorilla trekking and cleaning muddy boots that make the stay extra special. The lounge and dining areas are spacious and well-appointed. My room was huge and in the evenings the staff add warm water bottles to your bed and light a fire so the room is cosy when you return from dinner.

The location is great. The staff is very helpful & polite; they would go extra miles to assist you. Even the owner created a personal touch she arranged for us outdoor bonfire under the stars & forest surrounding that all of us throughly enjoyed. Also we had good breakfast in open area of the restaurant while enjoying the nature too.
