The swimming pool was good and the hot tub very appreciated. The views to the bay are also nice (although half of the view is towards the commercial harbour). It's not far from Praia da Vitória (walkable). Staff at the reception desk and at breakfast was very kind, enthusiastic and available. Breakfast was very good. We would definitely come back again to this hotel.

The staff was very forthcoming and friendly - the cook would always chat with us in the morning and even the owners passed by to introduce themselves. This is an amazing place, you must stay here if visiting Terceira! Whole village, including architectural, gastronomic, ethnographic and cultural evolution of the island of Terceira. You can see different handcraft workshops as they used to be, you can se farming, orchards, chicken, you sleep in different houses. At arrival you get a map and then you explore the village. It is amazing how every detail is made with affort. You are transported back in time, but keeping all the luxury of the modern times. Amazing breakfast and great traditional restaurant on site. Kind staff, nice rooms and pool. Top stay!!!!

Absolutely beautiful place with astonishing view of the ocean. The host - Hugo - is truly friendly and helpful person, taking fantastic care about his property. The swimming pool is perfectly clean, the grass around is literally English style, the sauna and fireplace ready to be used at any time. Every morning he is cleaning all the facilities to ensure you can have comfortable rest. The distance to the airport is good (25 min drive) and similar to the main towns and attractions. I can truly recommend this place for a vacation stay.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, especially the cleaning staff who also oversaw breakfast, whenever I needed something they always helped immediately and were very kind!
The hotel is located in the city center, so it has a great location. It's clean and cozy, the breakfast options were nice, but slightly limited.
It's an excellent choice for the value.

The host gives you a very good tour of what the concept is, after this welcome speech everything is clear. You have a stunning view. Once you exit the property, you have a very nice 270° viewpoint and a very nice walking route towards the closest village.

Beautiful.
Beautiful. There are many fascinating old buildings, cozy cafes, great beaches, and steep hills to climb. Great nature reserve at Monte Brasil. The people are very friendly. Quite a few facilities in this small little town. Very relaxing.

A very comfortable and pleasant town for living and staying, with very nice people, and an overall good atmosphere. There is enough to see and to enjoy, from food, ice-creams, and cafes. It also has a lovely small market where you can eat as well, and opposite a garden with a nice sitting area. It has all possible shops, a large grocery, it's surrounded by hills, and much green. There are many very nice old houses, nicely renovated
We are not young, so I can't say. There is a very nice and spacious beach with fine black sand
The town is a little bit on a hill, but by walking down, you can enjoy a very nice view of the sea. This is also the heart of the town.
Another good trip is a walk the monup the hill to ument. It can be walked from both sides, both offering very nice views all around.
Moving around without a car is quite difficult

Go stay somewhere nicer on Terceira. I only stayed in the very windy village of Lajas for one night to be closer to the airport for my very early flight. There are some restaurants here but don't expect much. Praia do Vitoria is nearby if you like to hear airplanes overhead.

There is not a lot going on in this town.
There is not a lot going on in this town. Most visitors spend only an hour or two at the shore. For the extra day Trilha Rocha do Chambra is an inland hike closer to Biscoitos than Angra. The shore walk to Quatro Ribeiras gives some good shore views. In late May it was cloudy every day; but no rain. There is one very food restaurant in town: Botequim o Baghulho.

Its a small island formed from multiple volcano calderas. There are plenty of fantastic viewpoints. Its much less taken over by tourism than other bigger islands so you really feel authentic.
Food and drink is very cheap and even excursions/trips are fairly affordable. Car hire etc has less choice than a bigger island. We hired a 125cc scooter which was a great way to explore the island.
Many of the shops/bars speak English, but plenty of the locals do not. If you can learn a little Portuguese before you go it will definitely help.

Hilly nice little town with historical center and marina. Not easy to drive through and park, but excellent for walking. Not many souvenir shops, and lots of cheap Chinese fake products but comparing to other towns in Azores this one is quite big.
Bars, restaurants and bistros are there but these are not the best, they are sufficient though.
The natural reserve on peninsula with citadel and military base is extraordinary. Great view and experience, nice for picnic or hiking!

Praia da Vitoria is an interesting, clean, attractive town to walk around at any time of day. The people are friendly and helpful. The food outlets are varied, from quiet quality restaurants to burger bars and excellant coffee/cake shops. The transport links are good and the bus ride into Angra is not to be missed. Prices of food are a lovely surprise, for two people from €6 for latte and cake, €9 for coffee and sandwich, €20 for a main, beer and coffee to €50 for a three course with excellent wine. Beaches are clean and seem very safe.

I really liked Biscoitos because of the natural pools and the cafe where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. It also has bakeries and restaurants and a wine museum. The location is great for visiting the whole island. I would definitely choose to stay in Biscoitos again.

Small town on a great beach front. Safe waters for swimming and dedicated areas for watersports, surfung can be undertaken further down tiwards the port.
Good eating places and bars. Walk to the top of the Mirradour for fanastic views (its 283 steps)
