MaltaSeriously, top service! The staff is friendly , helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We requested breakfast in the room, at arrival we could pick out from a menu what we would like to have the following morning, at 08:00am and seriously, exactly at 08:00 am we heard a knock on the door with exactly the things we requested! I mentioned my partner likes to eat from unused cutlery and they went and bought it for us specifically! I wanted fresh cheese but not goat cheese and they delivered that as well! I felt like a princess honestly. Everything we wanted or needed was taken care of without question. It took no longer than 5 minutes from the moment we arrived, to our room which was, very clean and spacious enough. Had a desk, clean bathroom, all we needed. I haven’t had such an amazing experience even in the best and expensive hotels or resorts. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Aljezur, close to all facilities, across the street is a pharmacy, honestly just amazing! 10/10 ⭐️

The reasons why we always come back to São Miguel are the Human and Landscape factors.
We love the bungalows in the freshness of the pinewood forest, the proximity of incredible cliff beaches the restaurant and the care in all things.
On the other side of the balance, is the Team, young, intelligent and attentive.
A special thank to Mr Raj, whom we had the privilege to know, and to attend to His Yoga Class, in camp.
A mention to Mr Edson with His Bicycle library, in camp.

This place is fantastic! Isolated from the cities, it's a small, unique world, a real gem. We absolutely loved the lake house, the pools, the ponds and sunset views! We spent 2 nights here, it was very calm and relaxing, at the same time never boring. The restaurant was amazing (special thanks to the waiters at Tenda), the breakfast very good as well.
The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful! We would definitely return.

It was a long hot walk at the end of a hiking day on the Fisherman's Trail (we could have taken a taxi) but so glad we had booked here. Loved our room - and the thoughtful decanter of port. The pool is gorgeous as are the grounds. Breakfast was one of the top two on our two week Portugal trip. Would highly recommend.

The reception folks were very helpful and spoke English which really helped me.
The breakfast was adequate. The first morning i was a little later than most guests so it was slim Pickens but the second morning I went earlier and had more choices.

I’ve been camping in this camping place for around 25 years and it has been always the best. It was the 1st time in the apartments, it’s nothing fancy but it was clean and it’s very big. They even “lend” us some cats to keep us company.

Visited for 3 days as part of a road trip through Alentejo into the Algarve. Lovely resort with river and sea beaches. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Visited out of season so very quiet apart from a volume of backpackers. Weather was perfect.

Aljezur is a great location to visit if you like nature, surfing, good food, a slower pace of life. I would recommend staying in Aljezur, getting a car to drive around to different beaches and villages where you can find good restaurants. In the evening, in Aljezur, always book ahead a table.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.

Almograve is a beautiful town close to an amazing beach. The town itself was smaller than the surrounding towns with less amenities , like restaurants to choose from, but we were only there for one night so it was fine. We walked down the road to the beach to enjoy an amazing sunset. The weather was beautiful while we were there. ,

Lovely hostess, fabulous location high up so we enjoyed the sunset. Apartment was very clean & well equipped, large, comfortable bed. Wifi very strong. Nice luxury whilst walking 12 days of the Fisherman's trail. Beware the Mercado in the town was closed at 3.30 so we purchased sardines, cheese & wine fir our dinner at the apartment as it us 2.5km out of town

I walked from Pedralva to Vila do Bispo -- about 8 miles. A nice in-land walk with a few steep hills, and no provisions (stores, cafe's, etc.,) along the way. Vila do Bispo is a nice little town with a number of very good restaurants, and even an Aldi's. There is a very good Vamus bus connection to Lagos which I used.

We spent the day driving down from Lisbon and so didn't spend any time in the town of Carrapateira itself. But the next morning, we really enjoyed the various hiking trails and scenic overview spots accessible from Carrapateira via the perimeter road (E. da Praia), which starts with great views of and trails to Praia da Bordeira and then winds along the coast's edge for about 10 km. Great views and trails.

This charming seaside village offers an ideal spot to relax and recharge. Although it can get quite crowded in July and August, its peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for a getaway.
There are many cafés and restaurants where you can truly experience Portuguese cuisine, but as always, check reviews to steer clear of tourist traps!

A magical small village with tiny streets and houses, nice restaurants The river is full of life, edpecially dozens of turtles sun bathing. the beaches are close and the castle above the city gives a nice overview although it is just a ruin.
nice massage at “em boas maos“ at the other side of the river in the new part of town.
there is also a nice walkway east of the castle directly below with benches to rest and look over the whole village and countryside.
