The hotel is brand new and has opened just few weeks before our arrival. You could feel the luxury and high quality everywhere. Everything was shiny and staff was super nice. We had an excellent room. We stayed in this hotel for a week and enjoyed every bit of it, including the pool, restaurant and breakfast. Absolutely lovely hotel!

    very nice location. right at the ocean and very close to some small cities around. walking distance to multiple restaurants and bars (20-30min walk). not far from Porto (15-20min by car). overall good level of all facilities and nice spacious rooms with ocean view. they cost a bit more than regular ones, but it worth its price! very nice heated pool with sea water inside. even though the hotel was well occupied, at the pool and saunas there was not so many people.

    Beautiful room with private balcony overlooking the Duoro River and the town of Porto. Great location with a back entrance that gives access to the town below. Wonderful dining facilities, so nice to have an after dinner drink in the evenings at Dick's Bar out on the Terrace and watch the sun going down over the town. Generally a beautiful Hotel.     We visited during the Sao Joao festival and although extremely crowded- one of the most magical nights I've ever experienced. Such a beautiful sight to see, thousands of floating lanterns throughout the nights sky and a unbeatable fireworks show at midnight!

    Room had dated brown furniture , not enough space between bed and dressing table I stubbed my toes twice. No kettle with tea and coffee in the room . I didn’t like the body gel sachets in the bathroom . It all felt a bit penny pinching from the hotel , it cost enough to warrant a coffee and a generous amount of body wash in the shower. The hotel was quiet and we had a good sleep ,comfy bed ,nice blinds. The location was the best thing ,didn’t have breakfast because we left before 5AM.

    Lovely area close to so many beaches and shopping and restaurants. Transportation was very easy - bus/cable car/ Uber - so easy to get around. And walking very easy for any level of fitness.

    Not much to do, in my opinion there are much nicer places to visit. Nicer beaches with warmer water. Parking is a huge problem and the locals do not like even trying to communicate in English. I guess it depends what you like. Would definately rather visit Al Garve.

    Vila do Conde is a charming town that is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of a large city, if that is what you are used to, or looking to get away from. There are many good restaurants in the area. We hired a car for the duration of our stay as we wanted to travel further afield whilst adding stops along the way and choosing the most scenic routes.

    The location was very close to the beach. It was a bit noisy in the evenings because restaurants and nightlife were literally right outside the door. Leca has a beautiful long beach and a variety of restaurants including one 2-Michelin star restaurant.

    I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay...

    I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay near the airport as it was a night time arrival. The suites are just a 5 minute walk from the airport, and also very close to a metro station for getting into Porto. I stayed in a different apartment the night before my trip, however, I wish I had known about these suites as I would also have stayed here the night before my outward journey. Conveniently located is an excellent, traditional Portuguese restaurant just along the street. Big portions, friendly staff - some speak English - and very inexpensive. The rooms are more than what you need, and the shared kitchen area with complementary breakfast are an added bonus. It is also possible to cook in the kitchen as there is a cooker and fridge. A great place to stay.

    See my previous comments, please. No need to repeat the same kudos and complaints! Also: No place to park! How can the city approve building a new hotel without either a designated parking lot or underground parking? And: The hotel accepts small pets. A good thing! But there's nowhere around the hotel for pets to be walked and do their business.
