Amazing hotel close enough to the port yet quiet and comfortable. I was able to check in a little earlier as a room was available. Both the breakfast and dinner are good value for money and varied. Open also to non guests, with a buffet available if enough people are staying at the hotel. The room and common areas were very clean. Parking is available close to the property however it can get busy during the week.

The boutique 4-star Hotel do Canal is situated in Horta on Faial Island. It is just 100 metres from the beach and offers panoramic views of Pico Mountain and the bay.

We loved our three day stay here. Very professional and friendly staff with a delicious breakfast buffet. The view from our window overlooking the marina and the mountain on the Island of Pico was stunning. Appreciated the underground parking and easy access. Loved the first floor lounge allowing a quiet and comfortable location to read in the early morning so as not to disturb my sleeping wife. Beautiful sunrise there. Location was ideal for hiking to the beach and enjoying the local restaurants.

Everything is brand new and in excellent condition. The place is spotlessly clean and you can see the dedication of the owners to this property. Spectacular views from balconies on Pico Island. Breakfast was sufficient maybe a slice of tomato would be good.

Exceptional accommodation with great ocean views and excellent location that is walking distance to a lot of attractions. It's very clean and beautiful dining room with great kitchen I was so happy I booked this place and made great use of the kitchen. I highly recommend

Everything was perfect, from checking in - to the apartment itself. Beautiful view, large comfortable bed, large bathroom, a small kitchen; everything you need.

Casal do Vulcão is a recently renovated country house in Capelo, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

I don’t think I have ever given a 10. The hosts, exceptional, they went out of their way to help me which made my trip in the end. The access, easy access at anytime. Bus stop, location back to Horta right outside. Swimming pool and outdoor area to eat, sit. Beautiful walk to swim areas, supermarket/ cafe (was perfect for me but maybe a little remote for some without a car) Building was insanely beautiful. Everything I needed to cook, stay comfortable and enjoy my two sleeps. Quiet.
