First of all, the hotel is new, very modern, beautifully decorated, and clean! Everything is in the details: the gym with Technogym equipment, Clarins products in the bathrooms, the relaxation room with amazing heated seats, lemon water available in the lobby and spa, and the mirror TV in the room. The staff is also lovely, and the breakfast is a solid 10/10.

The rooms were nice, clean, and modern. A steamer was available to iron clothing. There were speakers in the bedroom and bathroom, easily connected to and not visible. The hotel is very well-located. It has good breakfast offering, the staff is very kind, and you cannot hear the noise outside from the room. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. I am very thankful for my stay there!

Beautiful city.

Beautiful city. Ours was a visit for a tech event - web summit & stayed few days more to enjoy the city and neighbouring places. We stayed for 6 days, 3 for the event & 3 days for pleasure. We used metro extensively through our stay & was very convenient. We used commis and tram as well. Spent a day sightseeing Sintra, Cascais & nearby areas. Would love to visit the city again & continue our exploration of places that we missed. We enjoyed Portuguese food. There were a few good Indian restaurants in Saldanha & Oriente that we visited as well. Entry into Lisbon was an ordeal & we had a 4 hour queue for visa stamping and entering the city. There were very old people in their 80's in the queue. One lady almost fainted. There is no option to get water or use toilet once you are in this queue. Would really appreciate if authorities take a note of this and make the entry less painful. Fortunately, we travelled to France and did not have to go through the exit immigration option at Lisbon. Overall a memorable visit to a great place

All three of the main sights are quite spectacular (Pena, Quinta Regaleira, Moorish castle). We went in October so the crowds were not too bad. That is the only downside I think is that in the summer it may be incredibly crowded as it is so close to Lisbon and there are so many day tours from there. The Pena palace has extensive beautiful grounds so if you like walking, you can escape the crowds. There are other places to hike and other nearby sights like Monserrate Palace that I would have liked to explore that we did not have time for. We stayed 2.5 days.

Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.

There were two issues that were not quite good.

There were two issues that were not quite good. One, the air conditioning was not working properly; one night it was too cold and the other 6 nights it did not work at all. Secondly, the shower was very slippery. I almost fell and slightly hurt my foot trying to prevent a fall. Other than that, everything else was extraordinary.

Montijo is a hidden gem that beautifully blends traditional charm with modern amenities. Nestled close to Lisbon yet far enough to offer a serene escape, this town captivates with its rich history, friendly locals, and stunning natural landscapes. The quaint streets, vibrant markets, and delicious local cuisine provide an authentic taste of Portuguese culture. Its proximity to the Tagus River offers picturesque views and opportunities for leisurely walks or boat rides. Montijo is also a gateway to beautiful farm stays, where you can experience the peaceful countryside and savor fresh, local produce. The town's relaxed pace and welcoming vibe make it perfect for unwinding, while its convenient location allows easy exploration of nearby attractions. Whether you’re seeking tranquility, cultural immersion, or a base for day trips, Montijo delivers an unforgettable experience. A true Portuguese treasure that leaves you wanting to return!

Carcavelos is ideal for surfers and beach lovers or for those - as us - who do not want to stay in Lisbon city centre. We did not see much of Carcavelos other than the restaurants near the flat and the beach. The staff at Goa Square were friendly, helpful, and always available with recommendations. The rooms themselves were spotless and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. Plus, the location in Amadora is great for exploring Lisbon. There are plenty of sights nearby, and it's easy to get around. Just a heads-up that there can be some noise from the cuisine at night, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. Overall, though, a great stay!
