DenmarkWe stayed in the Palace, a beautiful building across the street from the Albatroz. Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished and comfortable. They provided toiletries, bottles of water everyday, a welcome glass of port, and a coffee machine and a kettle with coffee/ tea selection.
The main building was equally stunning and features the most beautiful pool area I’ve seen overlooking a small bay and the ocean.
The staff was always on point, very eager to help and professional. Big thanks to Lucas who helped us fixing our AC after a big power outage.
We also used the gym daily. The equipment is very modern and brand new and they also have a small terrace adjacent to the gym to take the workout outside.
The location is perfect, the hotel is very close to many good restaurants and bars and the main shopping street.

Wonderful Stay Experience
I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the brilliant breakfast and the exceptional service from all the hotel staff. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly, which truly enhanced our experience.
We enjoyed everything about our stay, although we did notice that the indoor pool is only accessible to kids from 9:00-11:00 and 15:00-19:00. Aside from that, everything was fantastic!
The reception team was incredibly welcoming, and the manager was outstanding as well. Overall, I give a heartfelt 10/10 to the entire team for their excellent service. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Very central hotel. We arrived very early morning and they allowed us to store our luggage and use the bathroom. We were also able to check in earlier. Our family room was upgraded to luxury family room. The staff were excellent and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was fantastic with views to die for. Although there are restaurants around, once the windows were closed we could not hear a thing. The aircon worked well. Room spacious, beds excellent and the balcony was a bonus. Breakfast excellent and all we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Pity we could only stay one night. See you again!

Cascais - very thankful to my colleague, a local from Porto, for recommending I stay at Cascais! It was the best decision, the town felt like home, and was easy access to everywhere! Food was excellent, transportation options perfect, and very walkable! I walked everywhere in the town, and went to Sintra twice via bus from bus depot, with excellent bus service. It felt safe no matter what time of the day or night- and even though there were tourists around, it didn't feel overwhelming like Lisbon or Porto, as there was a sense of peace and belonging! I want to go back again.

Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.

There were two issues that were not quite good.
There were two issues that were not quite good. One, the air conditioning was not working properly; one night it was too cold and the other 6 nights it did not work at all. Secondly, the shower was very slippery. I almost fell and slightly hurt my foot trying to prevent a fall.
Other than that, everything else was extraordinary.

Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.

It's a cosy little apartment, very well situated, with a lovely large patio, garden with swimming pool. However, being at the garden level I was surprised at how dark it was during the daytime. The kitchen and bathroom definitely need an upgrade for the price they are asking. Overall, a comfortable place for a short visit.

bars and cafes,there was a nice small park.I dont go out drinking and I did not have details of any alternative evening activities,except for the excellent 4 evenings of musical entertainment at cascais festival. I ate all my meals at save the world hostels as it was my plan to walk and sight see in the morning take a break at lunchtime and do the same in the afternoon and read my books as well.Pingo Doice supermarket you could
get a cup of coffee and a custard tart in their cafe for 1 euro.At Aldi Supermarket you could buy a packet of Markus Bio ground coffee (exc)

We really enjoyed walking around the city, the views are very pretty and overall the buildings and structures are really beautiful, lots of stone archways, marble and old stone buildings to admire and pretty cobbled paths to walk. The road out by the coast is really enjoyable to walk also with landmarks like the boca du inferno well
Worth a look. Restaurants are plentiful with good food and lots of nice cafes to enjoy a coffee and pastry while enjoying the autumn sun. The weather was perfect whilst we were there, warm but not too hot. The train station in cascais takes u into Lisbon city in 45 minutes and is really enjoyable as you pass along other sea side towns with a view of the sea as you travel. It’s not expensive and runs every 20 mins

All best beaches in Lisbon Subarban are located in Oeiras...
All best beaches in Lisbon Subarban are located in Oeiras region. If booked a hotel this region , all the prominent beaches like Carcevelos , Cascais are all reachable in short duration by the Moffusil train. Beach lovers can think staying in Oeiras region . Please note , I found public transport is not much effective or the frequency is very low , lot of time waiting for a bus , and finally have to depend on Taxis most time, that May shell out more expense
