Our stay at the Seven Hotel Bytom was simply outstanding and deserves a full 10-star rating. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and the check-in process was smooth and professional. The staff were extremely courteous and always eager to meet our needs. The rooms were exquisite and luxuriously appointed. The combination of modern design and high comfort made our stay particularly pleasant. The view from the roof was breathtaking and offered a spectacular panorama. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was also very good. The variety and quality of the food exceeded our expectations. Every dish was a delight and was prepared with great attention to detail. The location of the hotel was also ideal. Attractions, shopping opportunities, and cultural highlights were easily accessible, which further enriched our stay. Overall, the Seven Hotel Bytom exceeded our expectations in every way. We recommend this hotel without any reservations and are already looking forward to our next visit. A truly perfect stay!

Really lovely hotel. Worth the drive from Katowice to feel a sense of calm away from the city. I booked a garden facing room - which was quiet and I really enjoyed the view of the lovely garden during my stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast and food was lovely. The room was really spacious and clean. The view is just like the pictures, stunning. The bathroom has all you need, only flip flops were missing but we called the reception and they brought us a pair in like 2'. The people were very kind (not only the reception girls but also the staff that works in 27th floor). Not to mention the breakfast that it's super, delicious and in wide variey. It's perfect, I definately would stay again!

Perfect match for transit travelling! Very convenient if you travel through the Poland (A4) and you want to stay for 1 night. Close to highway, but not nosy. And very clean. Free parking on the hotel territory. Also there 24 h reception desk which is also so comfortable - you can check in (check out) any time without any problem. In the room included tee and coffee bags. The only thing that breakfast on weekends start a bit late (at 8:00) for my opinion. So, if you want to drive again from early morning- breakfast is not available before 8:00. That’s not a big deal but, just keep this in mind.

The hotel is very clean and situated in a calm area. 25 min away from central train station by public transport, or 10 min away by car/taxi. The stuff is very friendly, respectful, very helpful and hard working when it comes to cleaning. I was very happy and satisfied of my stay in Focus hotel. There’s a big supermarket just next to it. And the Sauna/gym is great.

We had a great stay at Marysin Dwór. The bed was super comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a real highlight — lots of variety, from fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes. The staff were friendly and everything was clean and well-kept. I’d definitely stay here again!

We booked a standard double room but got a free upgrade to a huge two-floor apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms – unbelievable! Staff at the reception were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and had a lot of variety. 10/10, we’ll definitely be back!

If not for the event held there, it is not a city we would...

If not for the event held there, it is not a city we would have chosen to visit. We aren't complaining, though. Despite the cold and constant rain we experienced, we feel like we got a true view of an everyday non-tourist town that is clean, safe, and friendly. The transportation system is incredible. Imagine modern buses trains and taxis not only sharing the roads in an organized manner but marveling that such a system was built leaving the cobblestones and buildings of ancient times intact. We love that about the European towns we have visited. It is a little out of the way for US travelers, but we would recommend a visit if you happen to be in the vicinity. It is bustling but not overcrowded. We enjoyed our visit.

It is a beautiful, clean, and quiet city near Katowice in German style almost at the cross of A4 and A1 highways. Center\downtown is a typical Polish historical district with buildings mainly from the 1900 years. It deserves a few days to walk in the center, visit Palmarnia, the wooden radio tower, and the Villa Cairo museum.

The apartment is esthetically decorated and very spacious. However, for my stay of just one night a few things were definitely missing: shampoo, hair dryer, and although there was a coffee maker, there was coffee. The apartment was cold and the water was cold too.

Great staff, always friendly and trying to meet your needs. Beautiful spa. Basic rooms, no kettle in the room and not very comfortable beds. But after all the experience was really nice regardless and for the price. You get what you pay for.

Dąbrowa Górnicza is not a "touristy" town.

Dąbrowa Górnicza is not a "touristy" town. But it has it's perks though. Large and green parks, a Pogoria lake with many attractions. It's nicely located between Katowice and Krakow. Close to The Trail of the Eagles' Nests (Polish: Szlak Orlich Gniazd), a marked trail along a chain of 25 medieval castles.

Beautiful, lively city with friendly people and nice places to visit. The Silesia park is definitely worth a visit along with the amusement park next to it. There are also many fun places to spend the evening.

Well- if you are coming here its probably not because of hunt for beautiful views or splendid architecture. It's not a world class tourist hub- just a little, kinda sleepy city. Do not take me wrong- there is nothing bad about it, it has its own, german-ish charm, nice restaurants, pleasant town square and is quite well connected- you should not be disappointed, just do not expect too much and you will be fine.

We didn’t know what to expect from Katowice as it isn’t really known as a touristy destination and is often described as “industrial” but we had a lovely day there - cracking museum ( Silesian museum) which had many different exhibits and we strolled around town and found some lovely places to eat. Not very easy to get to Auschwitz from there on public transport - we got a taxi for about£40
