Wonderful place with lovely staff, very delicious food and an infinitely pool with an amazing view. Rooms are basic but good value for money. They have modern fans that are very silent, which was great during the night. I usually don’t sleep too well without AC, but here I slept like a baby. Would come back any time!

After a nightmare mix up with flights, We booked a last minute stay at Dinah’s and was not disappointed at all. All staff were lovely and very accomodating, the rooms were clean and aircon available. We had breakfast included and they asked for our preferences. Swimming pool has a swim up bar which wasnt operating as we arrived close to midnight but still a cool spot to relax.

Exquisite service, extremely kind people from front office, to housekeeping, to the lovely young man standing at breakfast. We booked the two bedroom villa which was very very spacious and clean. I have never seen as many amenities in a hotel room, even though we have stayed at a large amount of 5 star hotels around the world. Anything you think of they had it, from bathrobes, to ALL toiletries and EVEN a weighing scale!! Was nice to check how much weight we had put on during the holiday haha. Breakfast was included and we had one of the best breakfasts out of all our stays in the Philippines. It wasn’t a huge buffet, but perfect choices for everyone to have a lovely breakfast. Also one of the few places (if not the first) where breakfast tea was offered during breakfast instead of only coffee. The kids had a blast at the pool. I could not recommend this place enough, it’s just the perfect hotel in Puerto Princessa. Staff go above and beyond and deserve everything they get.

I had an incredible stay at Astoria in Palawan. The facilities were top-notch, with beautifully maintained grounds and comfortable accommodations. However, what truly stood out was the staff. They were exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Every request was met with a smile, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. It's worth noting that the resort is somewhat isolated, with not much to do in the surrounding area except for a nearby aquapark. Great location in Puerto Princessa, local transport's available on the main road just outside of the resort whenever you need it. They'll also arrange your transport around the rest of Palawan which made things easy. The staff as well as the manager were incredible - very helpful people and accommodated my girlfriend and myself fantastically. The site is well maintained and the rooms are spacious and very clean with a great wifi connection. If you're looking for comfort and a beautiful place to relax with everything you need than look no further. This gem in Puerto Princessa has it all and you get more than what you paid for.

The place is outstanding. Right by the sea, with a fantastic view. There is also a swimming pool with an adjacent restaurant. The staff is friendly and accommodating, you are always greeted with a smile and the people are very helpful. You really feel welcome as a guest. The spacious rooms have high ceilings and the glass doors facing the sea are very thick. This insulates the heat very well. You only need the Aircom very little (if at all). The breakfast buffet is lucious and extensive. There are also chefs available to fulfill your every wish.

We did the underground river tour.

We did the underground river tour. It was rainy but still worth it. It was one of the most unique experience for us to see how the river caves formed and all the different stalagtites and stalagmites formation Other attractions we would probably like to see is Honda Bay.

We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.

Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bay

Worst public ride rates, not regulated, mostly a rip-off. The streets are unsafe with so many potholes, no street cleaners to keep the dust away. I appreciate the vehicles stopping when a person crosses the street.
