The lodge is really cozy, the room has everything we need, and choosing between having breakfast in the room or in front of the pool was absolutely nice. The breakfast itself was delicious! How they treat you and the constant good mood and smiles make the difference.
They helped us with external problems. As I said, always available. Even though we did not request a transfer from the port to the lodge and they picked us up anyways, they organized everything for us to go to the next step of our trip and so on.
We had an amazing journey, loved everything about the lodge, and are absolutely grateful to them!
We'll for sure go back there in the future.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic!
The pickup from the harbor worked perfectly, and we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. We stayed in an apartment in the Villa Moana, which I can highly recommend to everyone. The apartment was beautifully equipped, spotlessly clean, and in a great location. It also featured a wonderful terrace with a stunning sea view.
A particular highlight was the private dock with stairs that made it easy to enter the sea. Snorkeling here was a great experience—even though it might not seem so at first glance, there’s plenty to discover upon closer inspection. During our stay, I spotted octopuses, lionfish, stingrays, turtles, and even a nurse shark (don’t worry—they’re more scared of you than you are of them, and they quickly swim away if you encounter them).
We stayed on the upper floor, and in the evening, when the lights from the lower floor illuminate the water, you can watch the sharks hunting. It was an incredible and exciting sight.
All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and I would book here again.

This place is a piece of paradise, a place on a remote motu where you arrive with a boat, just to enjoy nature and privacy brought to perfection. The place is designed in the most beautiful way, with little details at every corner, with paintings, old vases and statues. The amount of relaxation you receive in this place is incredible. The host is very friendly and helpful, contributing to the best experience in terms of hospitality. You basically have your own private island and your own private beach with all the comfort of a high end hotel.
While some people might be a little concerned with mosquitos, please note that a reasonable quality repeller will solve this for you.
We tried the very best in Bora Bora, including the high end resorts with water bungalows. I can say that without our experience at Fare Ahuna, our trip to Bora Bora would have been so much less complete. Thank you Tea for everything that you built there, and with a humble salute, I thank you for allowing us to experience this glimpse of paradise.

Rohutu Fare is an exceptional, unique place to stay, nestled on the hill with magnificent views. We will never forget our stay here. From the moment we were welcomed at the jetty and driven to the hotel in a beautifully quirky Land Rover, to the moment we said our goodbyes to Nir at the end of our stay, this was a fabulous experience.
We loved the attention to detail: the colonial-chic-meets-Polynesian-style that makes this place truly unforgettable. As vegetarians, having our own cooking facilities meant we didn’t need to stray far from our room of an evening (Bora Bora doesn’t cater too well for veggies), and we were able to rustle up tasty meals in our wonderfully comfortable bungalow. Nir is the most attentive and welcoming of hosts and we hope to return one day.
We’d highly recommend Rohutu Fare to anyone looking for a luxury stay with a difference on Bora Bora.

The owners are very friendly, helpful. They explained everything to us. They have two bungalows on their property, each of them has its own atmosphere. We stayed in the bungalow that is directly connected to the terrace, which is over the water. So you can see the sea directly from the bed. We spent 6 nights on site, almost every day we used the bikes that the owners rent for free (as well as the kayak and paddelboard). Snorkeling by the corals is possible about 30 meters from the bungalow, just a dream. And sometimes we even saw a small stingray from the terrace. If we would come back to Bora Bora, we would definitely come here.

We loved everything, specially the service. The beach is great and clean, the towels are changed every day, everything you need is in the bungallow. The Supermarket is across the street and the water is drinkable. Perfect!! Thank you Christophe for exceeding our expectations, we were amazed 🤗

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.
Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.

Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.

Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).
