Nice greeting on arrival with a flower ei by Maheata. We were late arriving due to bird strike on our flight over. We had to return to Papeete, then changed aircraft. By the time we arrived, it was around 8pm & she was still waiting for us. Pool is wonderful, rooms clean, aircon & wifi is great, location easy to find & bonus being close to Borabora Yacht Club with nice tasty meals served there. We hired a car via Avis to get around & explore the island. We enjoyed our stay here.

The house is managed by a lovely family, and in particular, a young lady who was very helpful and quick to respond to messages. From the very beginning, she provided us with great assistance and many useful suggestions. Everything went smoothly, and the little house is cozy, simple, clean, and equipped with all the comforts. We are also very grateful because she helped us a lot, giving us a ride to a pick-up point for an excursion and bringing us back to the pier to catch the ferry. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for all help!

Valérie is just the best host ever. From the first moment until you leave she will make sure that you are having a wonderful time. She booked a great tour for us, dinner places and cabs. And just helped with everything we needed. Same counts for Marianne who is helping out. I assume Villa Yrondi is also the best the deal you get in Bora Bora. Highly recommend it and thanks a again for everything 🙏

Very friendly and helpful staff. Unbeatable location. Very comfortable (and not just by tent standards). Infinitely cooler than any cliché, overwater hotel. It took all of 5 minutes to see a humpback whale!

Hotel Review Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The pickup from the harbor worked perfectly, and we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. We stayed in an apartment in the Villa Moana, which I can highly recommend to everyone. The apartment was beautifully equipped, spotlessly clean, and in a great location. It also featured a wonderful terrace with a stunning sea view. A particular highlight was the private dock with stairs that made it easy to enter the sea. Snorkeling here was a great experience—even though it might not seem so at first glance, there’s plenty to discover upon closer inspection. During our stay, I spotted octopuses, lionfish, stingrays, turtles, and even a nurse shark (don’t worry—they’re more scared of you than you are of them, and they quickly swim away if you encounter them). We stayed on the upper floor, and in the evening, when the lights from the lower floor illuminate the water, you can watch the sharks hunting. It was an incredible and exciting sight. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and I would book here again. Mauruuru Francesco & Mimi

It’s hard to know where to begin when describing Rohotu Fare - it really is that unique and special. Nir is a modern-day Gaudi - his vision and creativity have created something so outside the norm that it’s nearly impossible to describe it in a way that does it justice - you just have to experience it. This is not a place for tourists that like international hotel chains and are not really interested in the culture and heritage of the place they’re visiting. However, if you want to experience a living work of art, surrounded by historic artefacts, carvings and tikis collected and created over a lifetime….if you want to shower outside in privacy but with water flowing from the hands of a female statue…..if you want to stay in a luxurious bungalow in the middle of lush forest with stupendous views - then you should go and stay at Rohotu Fare. Nir is one of the nicest and most interesting people you could ever meet and he and his lovely wife have created a true paradise in what is already paradise. Don’t hesitate, just go!

This place is a piece of paradise, a place on a remote motu where you arrive with a boat, just to enjoy nature and privacy brought to perfection. The place is designed in the most beautiful way, with little details at every corner, with paintings, old vases and statues. The amount of relaxation you receive in this place is incredible. The host is very friendly and helpful, contributing to the best experience in terms of hospitality. You basically have your own private island and your own private beach with all the comfort of a high end hotel. While some people might be a little concerned with mosquitos, please note that a reasonable quality repeller will solve this for you. We tried the very best in Bora Bora, including the high end resorts with water bungalows. I can say that without our experience at Fare Ahuna, our trip to Bora Bora would have been so much less complete. Thank you Tea for everything that you built there, and with a humble salute, I thank you for allowing us to experience this glimpse of paradise.

Loved its individuality - when I first got there - thought "what a dump" - but really grew to love it - only place I'd stay when I return to BB. Good facilities in kitchen and plenty of fans.

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.

Our favourite place was on the lagoon.

Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.

Going to Matira Beach is a must.

Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).
