Our stay at Hotel W was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is beautiful, and the service reflects their motto "Whatever, Whenever" perfectly. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and tasty options to start the day. One of the highlights of our trip was when our boys went big-game fishing (arranged separately) and caught some fish. To our delight, the hotel went above and beyond by preparing the fish for our dinner, even though we know this isn’t something they usually offer. This gesture made the experience feel extra special. We were blown away by the effort and creativity of the chefs, especially Ambed and Emanuel (Manu), who prepared the fish in several different dishes. Every bite was a masterpiece, and our taste buds were thrilled! Chef Ambed made our last two nights unforgettable, and it was such a pleasure to get to know him. His kindness, talent, and attention to detail left a lasting impression on us.

the hotel is wonderful. Instead of two double beds, we were upgraded to a diplomatic suite with three bathrooms for free. Cleanliness, order, comfortable beds. The kids loved the pool on the roof. Nearby grocery store, cafes. I recommend it.

The city is great, the people are great.

The city is great, the people are great. There is high level of social trust, you can feel very safe and welcome, also as a single woman traveller. I liked a beach with a warm sea. I liked the restaurants such as Baba Salem and Jungle, and a supermarket Hala Hypermarket. I also visited The Cave restaurant which has an excellent view , but I stopped there only for the coffee and pineapple juice, so I don't know their food. Cafe Bella Vista has also very good view, I had coffee and mango juice there. I was using taxis for longer distances. For shorter I was walking. I visited Sultan's Qaboos Grand Mosk twice: first time in the late evening, and the second time from 8 till 9.30, inside. I saw Sultan's Palace, too, and Al Mirani fort. I went on two boat cruises: one dolphin watching on a speed boat, and second time sunset cruise on a slow wooden boat, both by Coral Ocean Tours. I visited also Old Mutrah Souk. But the beach was number one in my priorities, it is safe there, and you can swim in bikini, no problem.

First day couldn't find a place to have breakfast in and we ended up searching for a mall and eventually having sandwiches at Starbucks No facilities for fun or family activities No decent restaurant but at malls and mostly expensive No facilities on beaches and the one in the most expensive compound Almouj is a clean beach but no showers or changing rooms or lounges

PERFECT EXPERIENCE ... will stay again First of all Mohamed property owner is the nicest person I have met, he picked me from airport and dropped me at the airport. from the time of booking he gets in touch with me on whatsapp. Property is 5 mins drive from airport best location possible. Room very clean, nice and tidy, had everything in it required for nice stay. I would recommend 100% this property and especially Mohamed. I will definitely stay again if I get chance. thanks. Everything was good. NO issues at all. very good communication.

Beautiful beachside area with peaceful surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere. Much quieter compared to the city — perfect for unwinding and enjoying the chill beach vibes. The country offers variety of attractions, landscapes and community. Each place is unique and captivating. The citizens are inviting and non-judgmental. They are willing to chat with you and give you tips on where to visit and where to eat etc. I NEVER VISITED A COUNTRY THAT SMELLS SO GREAT. Oman has a unique smell of oud fragrance from the airport into the streets, malls, hotels. It is a more relaxing Middle East compare to Dubai and other countries.

1) All the staff were most helpfull, however the language barrier caused a minor hic-cup with the room service when ordering from the menu in my room. Staff took it upon themselves to ad-lib with food subsitutions from the set breakfast menu, without informing the customers. It was eventually sorted out. 2) The water pressure in the shower was very low, could do with improvement. 3) The swimming pool was not available for use untill May 2024. Other than those 3 issues the hotel represents value for money. I would stay again, but make sure the swimming pool was available for use.

Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center.

Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center. Nothing to see there. So not many tourists there. But it is developing. Quiet long beach but no infrastructure. You need car to get to the center! There is a lively street food market in the night where you can get great food for low price.
