The beautifully restored historical house with museum located next to the old castle near a wonderful beach in Taqah was our favourite hotel and area during our 2 week travels throughout Oman. The staff were highly competent and great hosts. Service and breakfast were excellent. 10 from 10 points.

This hotel is highly recommend for the quality/price offered. .The room was large and comfortable. The staff and the receptionist extremely friendly. Especially Tariq who helped me navigate the area with good detailed plans to make my visit in the Dhofar region very pleasantHe also allowed a late check out.The breakfast and meals were plentiful and varied.The Chef Mufsi and Saif tried to make everything work well and even provided me with deluxe service and meals .This hotel has also a relaxing swimming pool and what was to be a stay of one night ended in 3 night stay! Thank you all for a wonderful stay. A perfect stay for knowing all the region.

⭐ 10/10 – Exceeded expectations! Probably the best and only hostel I found in Salalah and it exceeded expectations. Excellent Omani hospitality, especially from Hashem, who took care of everything. A family-run accommodation in the best way possible; warm, welcoming, and effortless. Location is perfect: just a 5-minute walk from the central market and the Mwasalat bus station to Muscat. Nearby cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs, and local spots all around. There’s a small grocery shop in the same building, and they offer car rentals if you’re heading to explore the mountains or coast. Facilities are well-maintained; fully equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms, and common areas. They have storage space if you arrive early or check out late, and super flexible with check-in timing. In short, value for money, excellent location, and true Omani hospitality. This place is an exceptional base while in Salalah. Highly recommend for anyone exploring Dhofar as an independent traveler.

First: The Hotels The hotel is wonderful and one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited, whether it's the main hotel, Al Fanar Hotel, Al Fanar Club Hotel, Rotana Hotel, Juweira Hotel, or any of the Hawana Salalah hotels. The hotel's location, swimming pools, beaches, green spaces, activities, and proper organization of this entire resort, of this size, with such precision and professionalism in management and providing the highest standards of quality. Second: The Staff There is no way to describe the professionalism of the staff and workers in all the hotel's facilities and departments. They are extremely kind, always smiling, and cooperative. They can be considered friends in one place. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Sienna, who is a wonderful, professional, and kind person. Abu Bakr is extremely kind and helpful to the guests. Hamada is a very cooperative employee. Every employee, from the administration, reception, support staff, car service, room service, restaurant staff, chefs, assistants, club staff, and spa staff, is professional, kind, and friendly. Third: The Rooms The rooms are professionally designed, comfortable, and have everything one could need in a hotel stay. They are of high quality in terms of soundproofing, lighting, furnishings, cleanliness, service, and comfort. Fourth: Food The variety of restaurants and the professionalism of the food are wonderful in every hotel, whether it's the Souq Restaurant, Zafran, Rotana Club, waves , or any of the other restaurants. They are very distinguished in terms of cleanliness. The quality of the food and the variety of meals were so varied that we never got bored. Although our reservation was all inclusive with 3 meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the variety of food and restaurants made you feel like you were experiencing the place for the first time. Not sure where to begin, but let's start from the moment my wife and I stepped into Hilton Salalah Resort. We were warmly welcomed by the most respectful, professional, and friendly receptionist, Ahmed! We were also fortunate to meet Awad, who greeted us with the biggest smile and made us feel at home instantly. Abdallah and Ellen were amazing too and ensured we had a smooth check-in/check-out. Our stay in the grand suite was nothing short of perfection, with stunning views and a dedicated housekeeping team that kept everything impeccable. Mariam and her colleague, Ujjal were consistently polite, friendly, and always punctual, making sure we never needed a thing. Even the guy in the shop was very polite, nice and amazing! Now, onto what everyone looks forward to—*the food!* The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. Dinner was even better, as we enjoyed the à la carte menu and tried so many delicious dishes, each one better than the last. A huge thank you to Rhea, Karen, Hasara, Mr. Rasik (the F&B manager), and Chef Mohamed Tawfik—the maestro behind every delightful bite. They pampered us daily throughout our 10-day stay, and their hospitality made us never want to leave. Last but certainly not least, this exceptional team wouldn't shine as brightly without the visionary leadership of Mr. Ahmed Masoud, the GM. His eloquent communication, leadership skills, and dedication to his team's success truly reflect in every part of the resort. God bless him and the entire team at Hilton Salalah for making our stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return!

The breakfast was very decent. They kept changing the menu every day so we didn't had to eat same stuff every day. We had an executive suite with 2 rooms so the room was decent size with nice and comfy beds. Staff was friendly and the hotel was decently cleaned. the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect if you look for a quite and familiar place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. the surrundings are stunning and the trip is aboslutely worth it. There are several resorts in the area but they are very decent and not invasive.

Salalah and especially the surrounding mountains contain a unique environment with magical natural views. But, if you want to see the lush green landscapes and waterfalls, make sure to come in the correct monsoon season known as khareef, which is during the summer months. Once the rains stop, the waterfalls dry up and the lush greenery turns dry and yellow. I came in November, which is a perfect time for nature photography as there is no rain to damage the camera and nature is still very alive, but all waterfalls had already completely dried up and the lush greenery was gone. The region, like the entire country, is very safe, with friendly and helpful people.

A quiet, quaint city with a seemingly tight-knit community and fantastic sights. We arrived at the end of the Khareef season but did not miss out on any greenery, beautiful birds, roaming camels, and absolutely great water features such as springs, streams, and waterfalls!
