I spent 3 nights in this hotel. I travel a lot and have rarely encountered a hotel of such quality. The room with balcony and view of the marina is very large, with plenty of storage space. Restaurant: the buffet dinner at the Al Manara restaurant is very good and varied every evening. Very good breakfast too. IMPORTANT NOTE: I had a problem with my return flight and THE RECEPTION STAFF WERE FANSTASTIC, RASHA IS SO VERY KING AND LISTENING, AS WELL AS HER TWO COLLEGUES (sorry, I can't remember their names, but they wear the kouma), AND THE MANAGER. I therefore recommend this hotel 100%.

One of the best property to stay in salalah during khareef Seasons, staffs here were very sophesticated and friendly . Rooms were very spacious similar to Apartments best for family stay. The breakfast was very decent. They kept changing the menu every day so we didn't had to eat same stuff every day. We had an executive suite with 2 rooms so the room was decent size with nice and comfy beds. Staff was friendly and the hotel was decently cleaned. The location of the hotel is pretty amazing and gives easy access to the main highways, nearby attractions and a lot of eating options. The AC and heater was working perfect. The receptionist went extra miles to take care of us. I booked for one night and wanted to try some other resort, but it exceeded my expectations and thought of saving time; so I requested them to extend my stay for 2 more nights, which they happily accepted given that they were nearly fully booked due to Kharif season.

We got something like a separate small villa with our own terrace and it was really nice! The room itself was spacious and cozy, had everything required - bed, desk, fridge, chairs; bathroom had all amenities including toiletries and towels. From the terrace once could go to the hotel pool or to the beach.

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect...

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect if you look for a quite and familiar place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. the surrundings are stunning and the trip is aboslutely worth it. There are several resorts in the area but they are very decent and not invasive.

Salalah and especially the surrounding mountains contain a unique environment with magical natural views. But, if you want to see the lush green landscapes and waterfalls, make sure to come in the correct monsoon season known as khareef, which is during the summer months. Once the rains stop, the waterfalls dry up and the lush greenery turns dry and yellow. I came in November, which is a perfect time for nature photography as there is no rain to damage the camera and nature is still very alive, but all waterfalls had already completely dried up and the lush greenery was gone. The region, like the entire country, is very safe, with friendly and helpful people.

A quiet, quaint city with a seemingly tight-knit community and fantastic sights. We arrived at the end of the Khareef season but did not miss out on any greenery, beautiful birds, roaming camels, and absolutely great water features such as springs, streams, and waterfalls!

When you are living in the Middle East your goto summer destinations are mostly cooler and greener places like Europe. One trip to Salalah and you realize you dont need to go that far.
