This hotel is spotlessly clean and a real haven amongst the energy and hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Set back slightly from the main road it offer a little piece of solitude. The rooms are immaculate, definitely the best shower of the trip. The manager is fabulous and the staff cannot do enough for you. 100% will stay here again when in Kathmandu. Do not hesitate book this hotel.

The staff made sure that visitors would not be scammed and even took them our to get food or to exchange money. They provided tips to protect visitors from being exploited and went beyond all expectations that hotel guests would have. What guests pay for the value of the services is great. It is a beautiful hotel with healthy food that is in the heart of one of the most adventurous and alive parts of Kathmandu. It is also close to the airport.

Kathmandu kind of dusty city, you may wear face mask. If you need to buy something, you probably need NPR. I found hard to change back from NPR to US dollars. Better to change USD to NPR just enough to buy what you’re looking to buy. Hotel and some coffee shops taking credit cards.

In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

I am an architect working in Heritage Preservation and have worked in the past in Nepal so I can say that Bhaktapur is the best preserved city in Nepal and an outstanding example of a community living their traditions and therefore aware of their own culture identity. It is a city who h teaches everyone how to respect and preserve our own cultural heritage, to be seen at least one in the life!

The location is perfect for quiet and relaxing. The facility is well maintained. Staff are very cooperative and friendly. Manager himself comes and enquire time to time when he sees you. Food is a bit expensive but tasty. Please consider visiting.

Value for money ,service oriented , the Bhutanese delicacy was amazing , very traditional and authentic touch. Front office team was amazing and always helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and all amenities placed tightly. The location is perfect close to Boudha stupa just walking distance and very peaceful and serene. Security staff very welcoming and professional. Very eager to come back to this property , I would highly recommend this hotel .

I had an absolutely excellent experience here! The place is stunning, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful — always attentive to every need. Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

It is less filled with tourists than Kathmandu or Thamel and seems to me more authentic. The Durbar square is amazing, as well as the small local temples and stupas. You can find delicious food everywhere, whatever you want, and people are very nice. You can get around on foot, but if you want to go to Kathmandu itself or to Bhaktapur, you can take a car via the Indrive app.
