Everything was great, the room so comfy, very clean, the location was amazing, Such a beautiful place but the best thing was the staff, Dilips (the cook and the manager) amazing people, the rest of the staff as well, they helped me book everything, my guided tours with the best guide in town, they picked me up in the bus stop, everything was amazing ❤️ the foooood was insane!!! We had a wonderful stay in the Aikawa Hotel! All the people of the staff are very friendly and treated us very well. We loved the service all the time (bus terminal pickup, tour organisation, food, help with questions). We also did two tours with the friendly guide Raj. He gave us a lot of informations about the Chitwan Nationalpark and did a very good job by spooting animals in the wild. We saw a lot of Rhinos, deers, birds, crocodiles. We can recommend to book the tours in directly in the hotel! The breakfast and the food in the lunch and dinnertime was delishes. Best food on our Nepal stay so far. For all the guests in future: Stay in this hotel to make your stay unforgettable. We will come back!

I have absolutely loved my time here. I wasn’t expecting such a sweet and welcoming family after the hectic days I spent in Kathmandu. If you want to have the best safari experience, this is the place. Bishnu it’s so pasionate about everything, you will feel that wildlife is truly his passion. We had the luck to see 3 tigers in the same place and a lot of ryhones, I think we spotted in one day more than 10. I did safari and walk in jungle, both experience were unique.

Very relaxing atmosphere, the garden is beautiful and the location is perfect: on a quiet street but walking distance from the main street and the riverside. Also the owner is really helpful with arranging tours (for a fair price!). Highly recommend!

Suraj was very welcoming and personable! Location is relatively close to the main town. I signed up for the full day jungle walk and they have very professional guides (Som & Thela) as well as a great staff team! (Shoutout to Bips too) It was a great stay and way to experience Chitwan, Sauraha.

    It’s the best hostel I’ve been so far, no doubt. Every detail is well taken care of, it can’t be cozier. You really feel like being in paradise! If you like being sorrounded by nature that’s your place. I even stayed longer that I planned. They have a vegetarian/vegan restaurant with tasty food, and the best time is when in the evening they set fire and people hang around it. Also, I joined a safari tour with susu, he’s so funny and knows so many interesting things about the fauna and flora in the area. They definitely make you feel like home, relaxed and peaceful!

Staff were super polite and helpful, facilities was amazing and the food was superb, we enjoyed every single dish we were served.     The staff took very good care of me! They were friendly and very attentive. I appreciate being picked up and dropped off at the bus station and having my meals served to me on my porch.     We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. Wishing you all the best... namaste!

    The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

    The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

    The location maps they point to are incorrect. It took me in the opposite direction. Even the mobile they provide is incorrect. I complained to the front desk staff to correct immediately so that the other client won't be misguided.

    We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

    Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4...

    Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

    Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

    It was my second visit to Chitwan.

    It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
