Everybody working at the hotel was taking super good care of us, everything was simple and well organized. They really want us to be happy, comfortable and feeling relaxed. This was one of the best experiences we've have ever had in 30 years of travelling. Bishnu and his family are simply delightful! From the room to the great Nepalese food, to the amazing animals and birds! Everything about this place is a peace home, even down to the time you want to eat breakfast and dinner. Not having to stress about being at the restaurant at a certain meal time, is a huge benefit of staying here. I really can’t recommend this place enough. The room was very comfortable, spacious and each has a private patio and bathroom. Some rooms also have a view of the mustard fields out of the window which is really nice. The garden surrounds all of the rooms and really makes the whole property feel relaxing to be in. Sometimes wild rhinos walk right past the side of the property and you can view them from the patio/garden area. The home cooked meals are wonderful. They use fresh ingredients from their garden. The owners here even offer teaching Nepalese dishes if guests are interested - if guests want to be apart of cooking their own dinner. The owners of the property are incredibly accomodating and will do anything in they can to make your stay the best it can be. Even down to assisting with booking jungle walks and safaris. They will answer any questions you have about what to do in the area. The location of this property is very central for most of the activities people like to do in Chitwan. It’s a 5 minute walk to the riverside (where you can view crocodiles). The cultural centre, local shops and jungle walk starting spot are also very close by. I left this place wishing I had stayed longer. I felt so safe and comfortable, especially as a young female traveller.

We would like to commend the excellent cuisine, which provided us with delicious meals every day. A special thanks goes to the staff for their patience and understanding in every way.The staff was incredibly accommodating and did everything possible to make our stay unforgettable. Our stay at Jungle Safari Lodge was truly wonderful, and we would love to return.

    The staff took very good care of me! They were friendly and very attentive. I appreciate being picked up and dropped off at the bus station and having my meals served to me on my porch.     We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. Wishing you all the best... namaste!

    The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

    The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

    The location maps they point to are incorrect. It took me in the opposite direction. Even the mobile they provide is incorrect. I complained to the front desk staff to correct immediately so that the other client won't be misguided.

    We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by...

    We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

    Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4...

    Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

    Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

    It was my second visit to Chitwan.

    It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
