We had a beautiful stay at Hotel Aikawa. The facilities are new and clean. The restaurant overlooked the pretty rice fields and it was very close to the restaurants in Sauraha. We were impressed by the staff who were all very helpful and professional. When we where there they were celebrating that they had aquired another star for their rating and we were invited to the celebrations where we had really good Nepali food. Overall we had an excellent stay and it was well worth the price.

Highly recommended!! Best stay in Chitwan!!!! There is a lovely garden with trees🌲 flowers💐and birds🦜 Veryyyyy friendly and helpful staff. Boss is sooo nice, he also took us to local market which is an unforgettable experience. We danced, ate ice cream and had a lot of fun. Will definitely be back next time. Chital Lodge is perfectly located next to Chitwan National Park, where we were able to walk in to the park for our walking safari during our stay. The yard and dining area is cozy where we spent some of our evenings eating delicious Momos from the kitchen. Our most valuable memory from Chital lodge is the walking safari hosted by stay owner Bishnu, who is knowledgeable walking in Chitwan since a kid, where he took us in to the national park on foot teaching us a lot about the nature, the area and the animals. It was truely a once in a lifetime experience! Learning about Chitwan and Nepal walking through the beautiful terrain and seeing the animals that day! Rooms are bare and for us wanting the experience by the nature was really value for money. Could not recommend enough!! Thank you to Bishnu and your family!

Stayed few days here, wildlife adventure activities was wonderfully great, guide was super with very good price, Breakfast and Nepali good was exceptionally good. Beautifully green garden with fruits, trees, flowers very peaceful area, walkable distance to major planes of Sauraha , over all fantastic place to be. The staff on arrival were extremely hospitable and were always willing to help. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious. In addition, for anyone wishing to experience the safari, the staff were able to answer all our questions, book us in and we were picked up by the jeep at the hotel. Overall, I would 100% recommend the Safari Suite hotel to anyone planning to visit Chituan, they completely exceeded our expectations!

Price quality is pretty good the owner was very friendly and welcoming and helps me arranging the safari tours to Chitwan National Park. The pick up from the bus station was one of the best that you can used especially arriving from a long bus journey. The rooms were perfect plenty of space. Although I only got a fan room, believe me it is more satisfying, airconditioning wasn’t necessary. The wifi works very well inside the room so for bloggers looking for a perfect internet connection this is the place to be. The bathroom is huge as well with good shower and hot water. There’s a kettle inside the room, hangers and one free bottle of water. If you want the room to be clean up just left the key at the reception and when you come back everything is cleaned.

An excellent and welcoming hotel in the Chitwan National Park area. Excellent hotel restaurant with daily live entertainment, hotel staff exceptionally helpful and always smiling and dedicated. We enjoyed the rich breakfast, vegetables, fruit and if the breakfast was not buffet style, it was possible to order directly with the chef's recommendation. Quiet outdoor seating by the pool. The insulation from the jungle heat was fantastic. Accommodation in cabins with all comfort and cleanliness. Everything down to the last detail. Foods generally very reasonably priced, more expensive alcohol is generally a matter of Nepal. The air conditioning is perfect and necessary, the toilet is clean, daily cleaning, the possibility to make coffee, fast internet as a matter of course. English as a language of communication is a matter of course. The Barahi chain of hotels is very similar and the services are exactly the same, at a high level. There is a swimming pool, a bar and places to rest and sunbathe. A 24/7 restaurant is the norm, security at the entrance always greets you and directs you if you ask for advice. Safari is a chapter unto itself. Breakfast in the jungle is inimitable. We saw a rhino right across the river from the hotel. We will definitely return to the hotel next year and can only recommend it. The price level is excellent, you will be hard pressed to find a better one. A clear choice for us.

Everything. Met the owner, what an inspiring person. I had read some bad reviews on this hotel and could not believe it was the same place. The rooms were clean, bright, decorated and comfortable. The lodge lives up to it's eco-friendly statements and the food was excellent. Most of the staff are training and all were excellent in service and friendliness. The location is right on the river and they walk the rescued elephants there every afternoon. Such a treat to stand next to them. The local rhinos wander past when they feel like it. It's magical. The company truly supports the community. Congrats to you for what you have built. I have already recommended your hotel to friends.

We would like to commend the excellent cuisine, which provided us with delicious meals every day. A special thanks goes to the staff for their patience and understanding in every way.The staff was incredibly accommodating and did everything possible to make our stay unforgettable. Our stay at Jungle Safari Lodge was truly wonderful, and we would love to return.

The place is simply amazing. Is a nature-friendly accomodation with all services (electricity, wifi, hot shower, kitchen) which is perfect if you like nature. Staying in a tree house is a dream. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the food is amazing, one of the best dal bhat I have tried in Nepal. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, I felt like family. Location is great, close to the river and elefant breeding center. If you like nature I recommend this place 100%!

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

The location maps they point to are incorrect. It took me in the opposite direction. Even the mobile they provide is incorrect. I complained to the front desk staff to correct immediately so that the other client won't be misguided.

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

It was my second visit to Chitwan.

It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
