First, the extremely helpful young lady at the reception at 1730 August 6. In brief, we had a 'missing' baggage for 7 days, and I received conflicting messages from the airline (SAS). So I asked the young lady for help. In no time she called the airport to confirm its whereabouts (at Svolvaer airport). Then, she assisted us further by calling a local 🚕. All the time, she was courteous and soft spoken. Second, the hotel is in a wonderful setting and the most iconic part of this beautiful town. Third, a good and tasty breakfast is provided. Fourth, it's situated near the ferry ⛴️ pier (10 minutes' walk).

Absolutely amazing stay! The location (we saw the most vivid northern lights right there), the cabin, the food, but above all else, the staff were so friendly and helpful! 1000% recommend!

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The room was spacious, with an incredible view that left me speechless. Everything was meticulously clean and comfortable, making the stay truly special. The staff was fantastic, and I must give a special shoutout to Umberto at reception—what a gentleman! He made us feel welcome from the very first moment and was always available to help with a smile. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant one evening, and it was simply fantastic. The food was delicious, and the maître d’ was both friendly and cheerful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. But the absolute highlight? The breakfast. I have never seen such a generous and varied selection. It was truly exceptional, with so many delicious things to eat and drink. The breakfast alone was worth the stay! It completely won me over and is the part I’ll remember most about this hotel.

We got an upgrade to a seaview room, as they were not too full. Room is not too big, but bed was comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was nicely set up and you could enjoy it outside. Location is a bit outside Henningsvær on the previous island, but only short walking distance away.
