CanadaGreat place! The pool was nice and the kids loved the huge waves at the beach. The staff was super helpful, even preparing coffee and fruit for us for our departure at 4 am. We had good service at the restaurant, and the breakfast was really good. There isn't much around the hotel but you can catch the bus right outside the hotel. Would definitely return.

Excellent location 4 minutes stroll to central plaza.. lovely leafy peaceful garden to relax in..clean room with comfy bed..gratis coffee on the brew all day and nice breakfast included. Private rooms also have fan, and A/C for an extra cost. - 3 shared bathrooms, regularly cleaned (multiple times a day). No hot water, but the cold water isn't freezing cold. - Same desayuno every morning, but two differents options (eggs with gallo pinto or pancakes). - Kitchen well furnished. Old pans and pots, but still doing the job. - Good Wi-fi in the main common area, weak in the back part of the hostel (but I think there's an other Wi-fi network for there). - Location right between the city center and the bus terminal (10-15 minutes of walk going to either of). - Laundry service available. The whole hotel has a lovely colonial / vintage feel. There was some really beautiful artwork throughout, some of which was painted by the owners mum. It had a lovely charming feel. I didn’t use the small pool, but this is definitely a bonus for the high temperatures in Leon. My room was lovely and comfortable. Everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was included and was also excellent. The location was perfect for exploring Leon and felt very safe. Leon is a pretty and interesting city.
Leon is a pretty and interesting city. We enjoyed a walking tour and the art museum was absolutely fantastic. We also really enjoyed doing a few trips from here - to the beach/mangroves at Las Penatas, and a volcano hike. Las Penitas is only 2 hours from Managua and 20 mins from lovely Leon. It’s totally relaxing, with some great places to eat for every budget, surf schools and mangroves to explore. The fishermen bringing their boats in up the river are a great sight to see at high tide.
