Excellent food, fresh juices, herbs and salads and of course fish from the lake. Just relax, take a swim in the lake or the pool, enjoy the sun setting behind the slopes of Mombacho volcano, and see it being illuminated by the rising sun next morning. The lodge is truly in the midst of the Mombacho Reserve - we were able to observe a sloth for several days as well as howler monkey every day - and offers a great view from a tree platform and has a really nice space to stay and relax. Granada is a pretty colonial town allowing easy access to Lake Nicaragua and an hour and a half drive to the Southwest to hit the beaches of the Pacific Ocean.
