Lovely lodge very close to Windhoek but still feels like you're out in the bush. The giraffes coming to feed by the pool during breakfast were definitely the highlight.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Heinitzburg castle and would definitely return. The staff were very pleasant and professional and the room was large and comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning on the room. We loved the hotel terrace to have a drink and/or meal, all while contemplating the view over Windhoek or watching the sun go down in the evening. Breakfast on the hotel terrace, included in the price of the room, was lovely. We had dinner on the terrace too - it was excellent. The castle also has a pretty pool and surrounding gardens.

Outstanding, wonderful location with super views over Windhoek, large comfortable rooms, all the staff are friendly and helpful particularly Martin in the bar/restaurant. I arrived very early and was given a room immediately which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was very good and the on site restaurant was excellent for dinner. There is a nice shaded swimming pool to relax but the best thing is the air of serenity from the moment you drive through the gate. I would 100% recommend.

Breakfast is amazing with loads of choice! Very accommodating staff, large bedrrom and very central location (safe to walk around).
