SwitzerlandIt was the best hotel staff on our Namibia round trip !!!! Attentive, helpful, but also humorous. Our companion for the morning and dinner would probably be the employee of the year. Many thanks. The houses are very clean and the grounds well maintained. The way to the entrance of the national park is a bit distant, but for that the wild animals graze right outside the front door.

The best part was seeing all the animals so close! We could have sat on the deck all day just watching them come and go. The staff was always smiling and very hospitable. They were helpful answering all of our questions and directing us to the dunes in Sossusvlei and Swakopmund. This was the perfect relaxing escape we needed, away from the busy city life of Luanda, Angola!

HungaryThis is an amazing place with a great staff. The dinner and the breakfast in the close Neukluft lodge were amazing, fine dining, choreoghrafed with love and competence. The waterhole, the swimming pool, the sunset point in the lodge were also worth to visit. The ground squarrels were lovely. The half-Angolan receptionist was also kind and lovely. We enjoyed every moments there.

The lodge is strategically located, less than 1h drive from Sessriem, on the outskirt of a mountain in a very nice position. The rooms are modern, super clean and spacious, sorrounded by a green garden with many trees. The common areas are equally well equipped, clean and well maintained. The breakfast provides a large number of choices for food. The value for money of the dinner is extremely advantagious.

The facilities were incredible, it was very secluded and quiet, and we saw plenty of zebra, oryx and springbok at the watering hole. There were no other guests booked in when we were there so we had the whole place to ourselves! The staff were incredibly attentive and it was such a special, memorable trip for us.

This is probably the best lodge we have stayed in terms of room sizes and comfort level during our stay in Namibia. Foods were good and it is an excellent place to unwind, chill and for spiritual detox.

I like NWR staff here more than Etosha.
I like NWR staff here more than Etosha. They are naturally friendly and explain detail of the park rules, how to do everthing right.
Dead valley is gorgeous. They are some hidden place near dead valley to see gemsbox on red desert sand. If your rent 4x4 and known how to drive on soft sand, go past the dead valley parking spot, it will have trees for lunch and walk about 1km to see gemsbox walking, eating, sleeping

The room was extremely comfortable and we would have loved to spend more time here. We booked the sunrise drive which was one of the highlights of our trip to Namibia. The sunrise went on forever and our guide was very informative. Surprisingly we were the only ones who chose the option that morning.
The only downside was the restaurant. While the food was OK we had to sit inside next to a large mobile air conditioner. One staff member would move it so it didn’t blow directly on us and another would move it back. It was so strong it kept blowing our plastic water bottle over. A bit more sensitivity would have been welcome.

What a beautiful place my goodness.
What a beautiful place my goodness. So much to do in the area - we would have definitely stayed longer to try out the different activities. Climbing the dunes at Sossusvlei was honestly the best day. It was beautiful and I can’t wait to be back!

We stayed in this location mainly to visit Sossusvlei which is further south. Solitaire itself is a charming but tiny settlement - only a few buildings and a petrol station, however it has an amazing cafe serving "the world's best apple pie" and it was! Solitaire is about a 20 minute drive from Soft Adventure Camp at the Namib Naukluft Lodge.

It was busy but still private enough not to spoil the overnight stay. The staff were very helpful in the shop. It was useful to have the fuel station as well. The supplies in the shop were adequate for the overnight stay and the location was convenient for Sossusvlei. The drive into Sossusvlei was fine but very crowded when we got to Deadvlei. Well worth a visit though.

SOlitair mountain lodge is a beautiful lodge with an incredible setting. they have a beautiful pool and watering hole close by which brings animals in such as zebra and Gemsbok/Oryx. The rooms were comfortable and large and the space is neat and well maintained. friendly staff made it extra easy to check in. We definitelywould stay and extra night at this lodge.
