Absolutely fantastic. Quiet, tents set far apart to make you feel really in the bush on your own. Every facility we needed was available, including a portable air conditioning that worked perfectly. 10 kms from Etosha Game Reserve. Highly recommended

Location is good, foods were amazing, but the most important thing was for us the exceptional, friendly hospitality of Damian, Anita and Andreas. I strongly recommend this guest house for everybody on the way to Ethosa. Andersson gate is 1 hour 20 minutes calm drive on the empty road. But the biggest advantage of this accomodation is the love of the owners. We felt there like family members of them. Big adventure was the scenic view tour. The view of the dry valley of the Uhab river can be compared with the Fish river Canyon. This short tour was one of the best moment for us in Namibia. The barbecue was also perfect on the second evening. The freshly baked breads in the mornings also very much lifted up our fellings of comfort there. 10/10 was everything. According to our experience this accomodation was better than any other expensive hotels nearby the Ethosa. Thanks for everything our dear hosts.

The concept of hospitality : stunning locations & design, very spacious rooms, quality & tasty food (chef Rasmus!) and staff that makes you feel 1) at home, 2) a valued customer without being pushy. I can only recommend it.

We had an excellent meal which we enjoyed together with the host. Piet had very interesting things to tell about the country, this was one of the highlights of my trip. In the evening, huge swarms of small birds came to stay for the night and leave again at sunrise. This was an amazing thing to watch. The gravel road that leads to the farm from the main road is in very good shape.

Lovely place, amazing food (we had game meat every night - Eland, Oryx, Springbok -), amazing breakfast, very comfortable bed and pillows, natural insect repellent in the rooms with lemongrass, natural views from the room - nice sunset -, very friendly staff. We arrived with Namibia2GO, till the other Gondwana hotel, and we were transferred for free to the hotel (6 kms away), also for free when leaving. We booked the full day safari with them (about 80 EUR per person) during 3 days and the service was very good, a lot of food for lunch included, and we saw a lot of animals. Very close to one of the Etosha gates, just 10 min drive. We would come back, for sure!!!!

Everything is perfect except it is very expensive. Really a 5-star accommodation in any perspective. Regarding animal sighting, we saw an elephant in distant when we were having our lunch. There is also a waterhole that you can view from restaurants or walk very close. Higher chance seeing rarer animals like lions and Kudu.

The staff here were so kind and friendly. it had such a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The views were incredible and the pool / garden area is lovely. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef went out of her way to accommodate our kids. This felt like a really luxurious end to our holiday.

We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to view animals in Etosha National Park. The terrain here (unlike Numatoni) is vast and flat. Animals are few and far between but with persistance and great binoculars we spotted a Black Rhinocerous, elephants, zebra, springbok, oryx, giraffe, ostriches, and 1 lion, all during daylight hours. The food is best OUTSIDE the park. There is NO fuel in the ENTIRE park! The “Trading Post” is the nearest fuel to this village (less than 10km). Fuel is CRITICAL for planning in rural Namibia!

Our second visit to this lovely Sasa camp, just because of the unique scenery to the Ugab valley and with it's charming natural stone cottages. The considerate hosts & delicious food from the kitchen crowned our visit again - thank you so much!

We were disappointed by the extremely bad roads in the park. There is no information about the rugged dirt roads in the park. We were happy to leave the park without an accident or car broken. No good for self drive! There were no animals at the waterhole in Okaukuejo...

Outjo is not a very clean town but ideal stop over for travelers on their way to or from Etosha. Visitors can also by essential supplies for their on-going travels. An excellent and reasonably priced place to eat is at the Farmhouse Boutique in town, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner under the shady trees.
