I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The location is perfect – it’s strategically placed close to everything I needed, making it super convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions or requests I had, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. It’s clear they pay attention to comfort, which I really appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Love the environment and the vibe that it has. The place is super clean and well maintained. The staffs were very helpful and also friendly. Love the room that we stayed in and the view from our room. Special thanks to Mr Amir (receptionist) who helped us through our checking in process. And also Mr Fizzy who took extra care to make our breakfast time enjoyable. We would like to thank to each of the staffs that we met( sorry fr not getting your name) for making our stay a memorable one.

Cute little room for an affordable price. I was mostly scare about the noise as we were there on a weekend, right in the middle of Jonker Street night market but you couldn't here anything from the room. Everything is within walking distance. They have a drinkable water dispenser in the lobby. Would definitely come back again.

FAQs about hotels in Melaka

Asia in a Nutshell

One of Malaysia’s smallest states, Melaka (or Malacca) has an important place in the country’s history. Home to one of the first Malaysian sultanates, it features a fabulous, replica sultan’s palace in the capital – Melaka City.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this sprawling city is a fascinating mix of architecture, including temples, mosques and churches dating back to Dutch and Portuguese colonial periods. Alongside more modern structures - such as Masjid Selat (also called the Malacca Straits Mosque) just offshore by Melaka beach - are ruins of A Famosa fort, wooden fishing boats, and traditional buildings in the Kampung Morten area, by a sharp bend in the Melaka River.

The city is also a rich mix of Asian nationalities and the Chinatown hotels near Jonker Street weekend night markets are particularly popular.

Melaka Airport is in the northern Batu Berendam suburb, and to the east is the Malacca International Trade Center in the small town of Ayer Keroh. Surrounded by lush greenery, this town also houses Melaka Zoo and the Taman Mini Malaysia and Mini ASEAN theme parks, featuring cultural events and reconstructions of housing styles typical of the Malaysian regions and south-east Asian countries.

Wherever you choose to stay, Booking.com has a great range of apartments, guest houses and hotels in Melaka to choose from.

If you are going to Jonker Walk from the Malacca Sentra...

If you are going to Jonker Walk from the Malacca Sentra Terminal: take the local bus #M100 from Bay 17; fare Rm1.50. It take about 15 minutes, depend on traffic, to reach the Stadthuys (Red Building) opposite the Jonker Walk. Tell the Driver, Jonker Walk when you pay the fare. When you notice red building on your left, ring the bell and prepare to alight at/near the Stadhuys. If you are going to the Sentra Bus Terminal from Jonker, do not take from the same "bus-stop" near The Stadhuys as advise by the Tourist Info Center. Bus #M100 route is 1-way round trip. It take about an hour to return to the bus terminal from The Stadhuys bus-stop (I have tried it). Refer to this website: https://businterchange.net/melakabus/routes.html for more info. Instead, you can walk along Jonker Walk toward Jln Kubu (the other end of Jonker Walk), indicate "#22 Melaka International School" on the map ( tip given by local people). Wait at a green shelter (for Grab) on your left hand side, across the road. From there, it takes about 15 minutes, fare-RM1.10, to reach the Terminal. Take note, the bus frequency is every 30 minutes according to that website. Additional info:- opposite the Sentra Terminal, there is a Lotus and Aeon Shopping Mall which you will notice when you are reaching the Sentra Terminal. These 2 Malls are worth to visit. Both have big Supermarket and I prefer the Aeon ones. From one of the terminal entrance, you can see both shopping malls and a long overhead bridge, walk up the overhead bridge to reach the Malls. Buying ticket to other Malaysia cities from the Sentra Terminal: if you are buying from Counter, make sure you have exact change. Alternatively, you can buy it from one of those Teller machine using debit/crebit, e-wallet, etc. Hope these info help and don't forget to cross-check my info.

Melaka is a popular historical country, wherever you go, you need to plan ahead. but dont rely too much on online booking, like for us, when we want to book for the Ayer Keroh Zoo,all online booking stated fully booked. but when we went there physically, it was available all the way. a bit frustated with the Zoo though, a lot of animal sites are empty or under construction, but the Dinasour Experience are the best, especially for kids

The calmness of the town is unique. I liked the food they served in the shops, very authentic. Unlike the big towns in Malaysia, this little town has its own uniqueness in the food, the scenery & the peace. Its awesome for Nature lovers. Its like visiting our past in the late 60s/70s. The people there are so friendly.

The beach is beautiful especially at night. The beach is attractive, suitable for various activities, especially for children and adults. The open area is also suitable for setting up tents and relaxing while fishing on the beach. However, it is in the process of construction. I am sure that in a short time this place will become more attractive

A laid back town, with friendly yet respectful people. Food is abundant and reasonably nice, as well as priced. Seafood outlets are many, but if you are looking for western food, head over the Chillis Village Food Court. The beef burger, puts McD's quarter pounder to shame.

Colourful, cultural & casual city - for singles, couples or families. Deserves repeat visits if possible, to see all of the sights, taste all the food & soak up the amazing history - in my case, over many long-weekends driving down from Kuala Lumpur, over many years.

A location in older part of town, not far from historical attractions. However not in the proper Kampung Morten precint the locals know. Nearby scenic river walk. Public transport nearby. Historical kampung Hulu mosque over the river footbridge, 400 metres away. Resonable shopping in local shops. Further from upmarket plazas. Unfortunately, the footpaths in this location/general area are either non-existant or painfully uneven. Some shop traders have made a lovely entrance to their shop, but raised the footpath infront of their premises by upto 20 cm. Every 2nd-3rd shop entrance is different to the last...hopeless for a baby pusher.
