Amazing lodge by the magnificent lake. All that beauty of nature, landscape and all going genuine Malawian life to get reached by stepping out of chalet’s door. We had also great adventure with boss Liam to the mountain nearby.

The accommodation was really nice! Also the owner is such a inspiring woman! She does amazing things to the community! Really recommend staying here! Two kids showed us the villages and beautiful beach which was amazing too!

Great location (on the lake). Amazingly friendly catering staff; went completely off-menu to source and prepare authentic "local" vegetarian food for me; and kept doing it for the whole week. Super helpful operations team were always willing to try to fix problems as they occurred (eg. bad wifi); can't blame them for others' mistakes!

The room (in the back yard, double room with own toilet & shower) was very good for the price. The location is perfect, in a quiet area, and just a short walk to the village. The food was very tasty, with vegetarian options available. The staff was super friendly, always smiling. We stayed for 10 nights and wouldn't have wanted to leave. Try the sunset cruise with their catamaran :) also the National park is a short walk away from the lodge, so we took a hike towards the view point and to Otter Point.
