This stay was beyond expectations. Jawakara Resort is very beautiful place with breathtaking sceneries and landscapes. The staff is very kind, smiling all day long, all good english-speaking and very professional (They even switch off the headlights of the golf carts for a short time when you walk around at night, just to not blind you!). The Beach villa is very comfy, spacious and with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed the full board with very wide range and diversity of fresh and delicious food every day.

Because we were on a tight budget, we had originally booked a Beach Bungalow and orange band (Bonthi restaurant). When looking at the All Inclusive Package we found we were on the ‘lowest rung’ and were worried we wouldn’t enjoy the holiday enough for the large cost (so we paid even more(!) to upgrade our room to a Beach Villa - blue band, Koamas restaurant - so we went up a rung on the banding for AI which gave us 2 buffet restaurants to use instead of one). When we arrived, we were told that we were being upgraded to a Water Villa at the adults only Sangu resort (including a red band - only higher is gold) for the entirety of our stay. We were absolutely flabbergasted and incredibly grateful to Kuredu for the very kind gesture. I will say that once you go to Sangu resort, you won’t want to go lower than that. Having said that, we did prefer lunch at the O Restaurant as it was cooler (as it’s on the windy part of the island) and a more enjoyable experience than the very humid and warm Sangu Restaurant. We spent a lot of the time lounging at O bar drinking the delish Masala Chai! The food at Sangu and O was incredible. We stayed only 4 nights so found there was plenty of choice (when people complain about a lack of diversity, I do think they expect too much - who eats a different breakfast every day at home? And here, you literally can - someone said in their Booking review that there was a lack of nice fruit but our experience was that all tropical fruits were present and delicious!) I have to say the staff were wonderful. Always friendly, always say hello and seem genuinely happy to be there serving us. The island was beautifully kept. We didn’t notice too much pollution from the vehicles driving around. They were constantly tidying the beaches of detritus and clearing up fallen leaves from the abundance of greenery. It truly is a remarkable resort. As a first experience of the Maldives and All Inclusive, we were very very pleasantly surprised.

The property is very nice, rooms are clean and spacious. They are cleaning them twice per day, it is really clean. When you arrive and night before you go there is a message on the bed written with palm leaves and flowers. Just gorgeous! L They have Italian chefs and the food is delicious. Especially Italian night is so good ! Everything we ate it was fresh and tasty. We went there with kids and they too enjoyed. Highly recommended!

Everything was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. Since the time we arrived at Male airport, all the people from the resort were super nice, friendly and supportive. Our GRO Kencho is just amazing and did really good helping us during our stay with everything. All the other employees were super kind and friendly too. We had a lot of fun with the people from Oceanix: Raul, Sante, Rio, Munni and all their colleagues. Our housekeeping Devan, was also super nice and he ensured that our room was always immaculate (twice a day). Also huge thankyou to him.

Definitely a paradis on Earth. But beside the resort, the restaurants, the beaches, which were all stunning and amazing beyon expectations, the real difference was done by the staff. Everyone fully dedicate to you (I have to mention Reeju, the Guest Experience Manager that was dedicated to us, but also the Reservation Manager Reeze and the GM, Bryce) in a very relaxed and hyper-attentive mood. More than definitely recommended, we were in honeymoon and that was fantastic. To mention additionaly: - Food: five restaurants, all great and amazing food, especially the Sip and Sand (Japanese / Asian) and the Spanish Tapas - Experiences: great weeklu plan, both complimentary and non-complimentary, super and memorable Nurse Sharke Swimming, Turtle Safari, and great yoga / meditation We can't wait to go back!

The property was in a great location by the beach, the dive centre, the turtle sanctuary and the cafe. There were fantastic views from the terrace where we were served our breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much for them. The property was spotlessly clean supplying towels and sheets on our request. The beds we found super comfy. Nargiz was an absolute treasure arranging excursions and ferry tickets. Saritam was brilliant at her job and served us wonderful breakfasts always with a huge smile.

We loved our stay at Le Méridien Maldives, from arrival to departure. The team is very attentive to the details and you can see everyone is kind and was doing all possible to meet our requests, and we were very picky about our wedding ceremony decorations and so on. All went great and we somehow felt a connection with a hotel personnel, which we find very rare. So thanks to every single person with whom we were in touch and who accommodated our request. Special thanks to Apple for our wedding ceremony organisation and to Michal who was spoiling us with delicious food and compliments.

We've stayed second time and will definitely come back third time! Everything is just excellent in this small paradise island: food, staff, reef, bungalows. We've booked water villa (Eagle Ray 12) - it looks directly to the ocean, you can't see sunset (it is sunrise side) but unlimited view on the sea is priceless. Yossuf (waiter in the restaurant) and Saeed (room cleaner) were extremely positive and friendly, that also gave nice emotions to the vacation. Net-net, if you want full tranquility in the small paradise - come to Komandoo!

Everything!! Especially the AAA. They make you feel like you are the only guests on the island, and everything is centered around making sure you have the best experience possible. It seems completely tailored to your needs and you are looked after from the moment you step through immigrations in Male, to when you go through security at Male upon your return. We have stayed at some top hotels, but never experience anything as good as this when it comes to service.

Overall, it’s an excellent place to destress or spend time w families or just a couple retreat! Very organized from the airport in Male to our final destination in the resort and vice versa. It was our first time in Maldives and we immediately felt safe knowing that someone was waiting for us to give us guide and navigate the how’s and do’s.

Kuredo is a great high quality holiday in pure paradise.

Kuredo is a great high quality holiday in pure paradise. I would personally class as a high 4 star of which I believe the price reflects. The island is stunning, extremely clean, staff helpful and friendly and plenty of dining options. Accomodation is great with most options benefiting from stunning views. On Kuredo there is lots to do also (if you want to keep busy) If your wanting 5* then you will be looking at paying a lot more than the price of Kuredo. My only issue since visiting last time (been 4 times now in total) was the changes on the eateries per band colour. Initially I was blue in a stunning premium beach villa but ended up paying extra to move to Sangu (red). Only reason is we didn't want to have to dine with all the children every meal time as mine are all grown up and I am passed that stage. I can not recommend this island enough (love it) but be careful when choosing your accommodation due to the band colour you are allocated too, as this defines which restaurants you eat in and which pools you can use etc.

Komandoo is a small resort with only 65 rooms.

Komandoo is a small resort with only 65 rooms. Most guests are repeat visitors, with some having been coming back for over 10 years. Like a lot of the guests, we have tried other Maldivian island resorts, and have come to the same conclusion - Komandoo is a quiet, friendly resort with excellent food. The star of the resort is most definitely the staff. Without exception they are helpful, friendly, and with a maximum of 130 guests, they quickly get to know you. Seeing repeat guests arrive was like watching a family reunion. The villas and facilities are basic - not the latest flashy trends with private pools and the like, but solid and comfortable.

I would not recommend staying at Naifaru, since it's a local island so you have to cover up your shoulders and knees at all times, even on the beach. It's better to save up money for the Maldives and splurge and stay at a resort. Also, don't travel during the rainy season. The weather was pretty bad the whole week I was there except for a few hours of sunshine one day.

Excellent choice of food in the restaurant, beaches clean but varied from nice soft sand to gritty coral sand. The east side of the jetty the sea was choppy like a mill pond on the west side of the jetty. Resort was busy but never difficult to find tables in restaurant or seating in bars.

Wonderful small island resort with everything you could need to enjoy your time in paradise. We tried paddle boat with slider, kayak, seabob, went on turtle snorkerling trip, massage time at spa,we met reef sharks, octopus at the pier, lot of colored fishes, crabs and of course grey heron :) Our sunset beach pool villa was the best choice!Amazing white beach, nice private pool, nice terrace, room was big, our family of 4 had really enough space there for relaxation also for online schooling.Oh and bathroom! We could take a shower all at once! But shower under the palm tree was our favourite! Staff were so kind and helpful and smiling,we liked everyone who take care of us! But our Hakee..he is the best! He is so nice and kind man, he take care of us at restaurant, pampered us, made a fun with us, we really loved him! Thanks to him kids fed the fish at the pier, we saw wonderful sunrise, kids had a great servise of fruits and icecream during they online school and mommy had always ready a glass of wine.. we cried as we left.. Hakee thank you so much!!!! And also I have to mentioned Azym, our manazer who was always there for us,who always fulfilled our ideas and thaks to him everything went smoothly. Our kind housekeeper cleaned villa twice a day and our minibar was always full,we had always enough water and some sweetness for kids.He did great job! Two weeks here passed very quickly. We were so sad when we left. But the feeling of wonderful time will stay with us for a long time.
