Staff of the hotel is excellent! Both the staff at the reception, cleaning of the room and kitchen are extremely helpful and friendly. Food (buffet style) was included in our booking and every time we looked forward to this. You won’t be disappointed booking this accommodation!

Stone Hotel in the Maldives exceeded every expectation. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was world-class – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The diving and snorkeling were absolutely breathtaking, with vibrant reefs and incredible marine life. Excursions were perfectly planned and full of unforgettable moments. The rooms were pure luxury – stylish, serene, and always offering stunning views.
One of the rare places in the world I will definitely return to. Simply outstanding!

KenyaThe location of the accommodation is close to the beach. We walked for 2minutes and we were at the crystal clear waters of Thulusdhoo.
The attendant Harry was the best. He was at the port to receive us and on the day of leaving he made sure he saw us off at the same port. He also was ready to help us locate good eateries, he was simply the best friend we had in thulusdhoo.
The accommodation is near the mosque, I was able to hear adhan from my room and was able to attend magrib congregation prayers. Locals were very welcoming.
Excursions organised by Harry were very affordable too.

Especially the house manager Sanjay treat us like family，he helped us alot. The house view are very perfect as well, our balcony face the sea view, I even can saw dophins jumping in the sea. The resort is 15 mins travel by boat from the airport which is very convenient. We booked for the sunset water pool villa with private pool and jacuzzi and it's just perfect. The room is neat and clean, spacious and good for snorkeling. We enjoyed the private pool, we've read some comments before that it's small but we really think it's just perfect for the size of the villa. We also had a wedding ceremony/Renewal of our vows and we couldn't be more pleased how it turned out perfectly. Thanks to all the employees who made it very memorable to us. We appreciated much all their effort. Adaaran Prestige is really the top from all the private resorts we have been to. All their employees from the spa and restaurants are very polite and friendly. (we went for a massage twice, it was very good and worth the price) Mr. Anthony is very professional. He coordinated everything well our wedding ceremony and he always makes sure that we would always get the best experience to enjoy our whole stay in the resort. Thank you so much also to our personal butler, Ajay. He is such a genuine and nice person making sure that he arranges and provides all our needs. Thank you to you and to that other lady for capturing our priceless moments during our wedding ceremony. We loved all the photos. Thank you also to the cleaner of our villa for the wonderful decoration in our villa on the day of our Wedding. He makes sure also that our villa is always neat and clean. We tried all the 3 restaurants, have less varieties but it was totally fine. It was also lovely to spend time at the bar every night after dinner and have some drinks and enjoy the music. We stayed for five days and we wanted to have more. if we ever go back to Maldives again, we would definitely choose Adaaran Prestige Vadoo again. Thank you so much again for making our whole stay enjoyable and unforgettable. We are beyond grateful for your dedication and excellent service!

Our stay at Embudu Village Resort was absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as arranged before: they picked us up in Malé on time and transferred us smoothly by boat. We stayed for 7 days with full board, which was more than enough — delicious food with many options, much better than expected!
We were a bit worried we might get bored, but the island offers plenty of affordable activities like snorkeling (the marine life is incredible!), night fishing (and they cook your catch the next day), and more.
The island, rooms, and all areas were spotlessly clean at all times. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Every day, we received 1 liter of water per person in the room; we also brought some extra water, so we didn’t need to buy more, as full board covers drinks only at breakfast (tea/coffee).
The only small downside was the Wi-Fi coverage, which was quite poor — but honestly, it didn’t disturb us at all, as we spent most of our time enjoying the island and only checked our phones briefly at night.
It was truly an amazing, relaxing experience — highly recommended!

Wonderful experience staying here. The pickup from the airport, the boat transfer, the check in at 11:30pm at night all was great. The Ocean front villa was beautiful, well kept. The snorkelling just off the back door with alot of fish around and the water so clear and pristine. The brekky buffet spread was huge and everything was great quality. The Cafe and restaurants were great. The staff are so welcoming friendly and warm and well trained. Make you feel tended to. The Dolphin tour was well organised and the boys on the boat were so helpful and accommodating and we were able to see Dolphins. The Shark/Sandbar/Reef tour was amazing too, with the Watersports boys friendly, helpful and ever so accommodating. The small things such as scented towels, the custom flip flops and a letter/reminder the night before check out to fill in the online departure form, allowing a free boat ride to the airport again the next day to pickup family. Overall a blissful 5 Star vacation !!! We didn't feel like leaving !!!

This place is absolutely amazing! After a short boat ride from Male airport, you arrive in what feels like paradise. We stayed in a beachfront villa with a private pool. The villa was perfect—just steps from the beach, with stunning ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves. The island itself is encircled by pristine beaches with soft, white sand and crystal-clear waters that are simply breathtaking. The food here is exceptional, offering a variety of flavors that cater to every palate. And the staff? They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home. Their warmth and attentiveness truly elevate the experience, making this island getaway unforgettable. I don’t usually write reviews, but after staying at this resort, I just can’t help myself. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to tell all our friends and family about this incredible place. Thank you to the entire resort team for an unforgettable stay!

Thank you for fast and smooth boat transfer, did’t have to wait at Male airport. Also thank you for early check-in so we could enjoy the holiday as soon as possible (this is the thing that is not usually available in hotels).
We got villa 181 with beautiful sand beach and view with sea and palms. Not windy, calm & clear water.
The island has about 15 beaches, explored them all by bicycle or walk. The beaches were really beautiful.
Delicious food at breakfast and Rhabarbaro restaurant for dinner. Especially like breakfast buffet with choice of a la carte menu.

Apart from the location, I particularly liked how seamless and easy the checkin procedure was. The hotel allowed us to check in at close to 7 am, in fact they suggested it. This was really nice after an overnight flight. We didn’t have to complete forms or spend time at reception. The island has its own reef, and it’s a haven for snorkeling enthusiasts. Overall, staff are wonderful and trying their best to anticipate every need (special thanks to Reema who looked after us so well, and to Giyas from the Diving Centre for the unforgettable memories at sea.)

Fabulous resort, especially being able to access the 2 other resorts on the island. The staff were professional, rooms were high quality, spacious with good amenities and some nick knacks provided. The food was outstanding at all restaurants we ate at. The pools were incredible, especially enjoyable for the kids. We came back to Velassaru after 10 years and our time there was sensational. What really stands out is the natural beaty of the island. During our stay, we have seen dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles and sharks. Furthermore, the hotel staff is incredibly friendly and competent. Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

We booked a family room, and starting from the booking until reaching the Airport to go back home, Aqua Sunset was there for us; just like a family. They prepared all of our meals for us, not to forget to mention the beautiful walkway to the beach was right outside the guest dining area. So we all enjoyed the walk along the coastline, to the bikini beach together, after our meals. The end of the Marina is also right outside the dining area; where they feed the marine life & was also fun to watch with the family, after dinner. We had a super experience, too, with Aqua Sunset’s excursion management team. We booked a half-day family excursion, to swim with the turtles together, and it was so amazing! They even gave us a video of all of us together with the turtles. We all recommend Aqua Sunset because it’s budget/family friendly, the location is perfect, and because everyone made us feel welcomed. Enjoy!

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
