Our stay at this beautiful resort in the Maldives was an absolute dream. The hotel is tucked away among tall palm trees, just 10 meters from a stunning white-sand beach with crystal-clear water. The entire island felt like a hidden paradise.
One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with manta rays in the incredible Hanifaru Bay – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. Every day, the hotel provided us with clean beach towels, snorkeling masks, and fins, making it so easy to enjoy the sea and the underwater beauty.
The staff were exceptional – always kind, professional, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Sumesh, who went above and beyond every single day to make our stay perfect. He solved every little issue quickly and with a smile, making us feel completely looked after.
We also want to highlight the head of dining, who ensured every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. The service in the restaurant was just as great as the food itself.
For the price, the hotel was more than fair – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The island is small but absolutely magical, ideal for relaxation, nature lovers, and ocean adventures.

The service was top-notch – personalized and thoughtful at every turn. The food? Delicious and beautifully presented! One of the best parts is the ability to choose between local Maldivian dishes or European cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The island is the perfect size for exploring, with clean beaches and stunning ocean views. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out right before my eyes.
The highlight of my stay was taking a boat trip to a deserted island, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime moment!
For those who love to explore, the resort offers bicycles that you can take and ride around the island. It’s a fun and relaxing way to see every corner of this beautiful place.

The room was equipped with everything that each guest might need – from a small refrigerator and air conditioning to high-quality toilet articles. We were also pleasantly surprised to find yoga mats and a beach bag, which showed how much they care about catering to a variety of guest needs.
We cannot mention enough how comfortable the bed was! The room itself was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, offering a great balance of comfort and style.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth, and we even got a small excursion of the island.
Another great feature was the cleanliness. The room was cleaned twice a day, which kept everything fresh and tidy during our stay.
The food was delicious and well-prepared, though we would suggest expanding the menu a bit for more variety, especially for longer stays. That said, every meal we had was flavorful and satisfying.
The Bikini Beach on the island was quiet and secluded, making it a great spot for a peaceful getaway. The calm atmosphere and beautiful views made it a perfect place to relax.
A big thank you to the wonderful staff (Aku, Putu, Ismail, and all the other guys whose names we didn't catch) for making our stay so enjoyable. Your warmth and attention to detail truly made a difference, and we look forward to returning!

Vakkaru Resort exceeded our expectations. We liked absolutely everything. The island is big enough to never get bored of it. There are beautiful beaches and a flourishing vegetation that makes very pleasant biking around in the internal part. The service exceeded our expectations. Our Buttler, Joy, was absolutely perfect: precise, gentle, always one step further, she assisted us perfectly and resolved any situation. Everyone was extremely competent and so nice with us. The whole island is so clean. We were afraid that our plunge pool villa would have been too small, but it was actually perfect, much bigger than it appears in the pictures. Great attention is given to sustainability in the choice of materials. The private beach in front of it was pure heaven. Snorkelling in front of the villa and in the blue holes was amazing. Breakfast was huge and excellent. Food in general was fantastic, and we are difficult customers as we really love high quality dining and we are very spoiled by Michelin starred restaurants around the world. We particularly loved Lagoon Bar, with its amazing sea food and astonishing views of the ocean. We also loved Isoletta, despite the fact we are Italian and we normally never eat Italian food abroad. But at Isoletta, chef Andrea does a wonderful job: you can find superlative Italian cuisine here, with its classic recipes, sometimes with an original "twist". Not only is Andrea an excellent chef, but he is extremely kind and welcoming. I really appreciated he found the time to teach me some tricks for his "risotto al limone", one of the best risotto I ever had in my life. If you would ever get bored of the beach, snorkelling, and sea, you can relax at the amazing SPA. Or play some board games, there are so many! Or play padel, or tennis, or several water sports. We are already considering to coming back asap.

Came to Furaveri for our Honeymoon and what came I say, they treated us like royalty and we felt so special. The staff are so friendly and positive and always happy to have a chat. I would love to thank Mae our host again for everything she did for us, she was so amazing. The rooms are very cool…..we actually stayed in a garden villa and pool villa and they both were great but highly recommend the pool villa as it was so nice for us to have some space to ourselves to enjoy each others company during the day. The food was also good and lots of variety. I could say so much but I hope one day we can come back.

The room was kept very clean, being serviced twice a day. The pool belonging to the villa was fantastic and was kept very clean.
The service in the restaurant was excellent, with a special mention to Musafir!
The dive centre was well organised, as were the dives. The diving at the local reef is not the best though.
The beaches around the resort are very nice and kept clean.
There is a lot to do for children and they are very welcome everywhere in the resort.

We are a same-sex couple that travelled there for our honeymoon .This marvelous property sits on a beautiful island surrounded by an amazing reef. I saw sharks rays and turtles a few meters into the see from our cabin.. The food is great and their all inclusive premium includes activities and a session at the spa (or diving if you are certified). I would go back in heartbeat. The staff is sooo nice they definitely made our stay unforgettable, thanks to Shihus that made sure we were up to day during our stay and tended to our needs, Rai an Swarna and all the staff at booli bar and to Shirsti and Aahil and all the staff at the Raabondhi restaurant

Very organized from the airport in Male to our final destination in the resort and vice versa. It was our first time in Maldives and we immediately felt safe knowing that someone was waiting for us to give us guide and navigate the how’s and do’s.

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

Really paradise. Very calm and cozy place. Heaven for kids nad families - plenty restaurants, Kids club, Play place, Gym, sand-sand-sand, icecream-icecream-icecream, pool, and many thing to do...
Also, please do kayak around island,
Also, please do walk around Iceland. it takes only 30 minutes... what a good walk!

The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors.
I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials.
Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.

Says that you get transportation to the island.
Says that you get transportation to the island. We paid for 6 nights and 5 days and got kicked out at 0300 am even though check out was at 1200. They made us leave 12 hours early because the free transfer was NOT free. We then had to sit and sleep in airports all day. They said we could pay an extra $289 per person to get the seaplane or we had to leave at 0300 and robbed us of a full day and have refused to reimburse us. In addition to this, my partner was drugged while staying there and the staff did nothing to help us or accommodate us. I would NOT stay in this place ever again!!!! It reads on their website that seaplane is free to island. They got us way late on the first day, and made us leave 12 hours early on the final day and have refused to comp us for the final day. I would NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend other guests to stay here. Everything was an additional upgraded cost, most activities were cancelled or non existent, or were additional costs. It is also very sad that this place turned out not to be safe since my partner was roofied while staying here and the staff expressed no concern by this.

Excellent choice of food in the restaurant, beaches clean but varied from nice soft sand to gritty coral sand. The east side of the jetty the sea was choppy like a mill pond on the west side of the jetty. Resort was busy but never difficult to find tables in restaurant or seating in bars.

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.

It's a 50 minute flight by Sea Plane from Male and absolutely worth it. The variety of fish when snorkelling, no bugs whatsoever. Stunning beaches. I would go there again in a heart beat.
We did the half day excursion that includes visiting Tsunami Island, Dolphin watching, Snorkelling at a gorgeous Reef and a nice little lunch. Worth it!
We also went to the H2O Restaurant (not sure if you can only do that if you stay at the Me & You Maldives Hotel). It's expensive but worth every penny. The food is incredible not to mention the overall experience.
