    Exceptional place, you feel as if in a luxury botanical garden. The room (Junior Suite) and all the facilities were impeccable. The service too, food really good except for the Trattoria pizza - I prefer the Roman style (thin and crunchy) and this one was thick and really heave in the stomach. It was nice to have the shuttle to Île aux Cerfs where Anahita has the best beach on the Island. Swimming in the sea was possible on Île aux Cerfs (even if no marine life) but at the mainland beach. Golf clubs at the Resort and Île aux Cerfs are amazing.

    We loved our stay at Friday Attitude and would definitely recommend it. We would love to return if we ever come back to Mauritius. Location was good and the hotel facilities were amazing. The food was delicious, tropical gardens were beautiful, pool area was great. We loved the beach bar and the beach itself. We also tried one of the massages at the SPA and it was the best massage I have ever had. We also took up the offer to visit Ile aux Cerfs for no additional fee and it turned out to be a fantastic trip.

    From the first moment when we entered we feel welcomed. We were welcome by Liuba (Love) and this is exactly what we felt in each place on the resort - love for the people, love for the nature, love for the animals and birds around. Food is delicious, location is very quiet, very nice smell of ylang-ylang on the main places. Also we received some surprises during our stay which made our stay even more unforgettable. Thank you for having such a great attitude for your guests!

    There are different beach activities offered free with the all inclusive package. Snorkling was amazing with all kind of coral and fishes that worth to be seen. Food is amazing with different kitchens and fresh food and juicy fruits. Staff are friendly and helpful especially the kids club team who take our kids from morning to evening and fill their day with many enjoying activities with the other kids.

    Staff was really kind and helpful. They really go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible. There is an entertainment program every day and a lot of free activities that you can do on the beach. We really liked the food as well. All in all they made us feel at home and we will definitely be returning when we come back to Mauritius!

    La Koquillishe is located between two excellent restaurants : La Case a Poisson and Tino's which have incredible food for reasonable prices. Not to be missed. Also, La Koquillishe has a taxi service which is extremely efficient and correctly priced. Ask for Patrick.

    Our stay at the Bubble Lodge Resort for 2 nights (Lake & sea view Bubble). Mukesh and Nevin where my favourite staff and made our stay extra special to us - we felt very much welcomed: they are outstanding naturally nice. Great employees, great service! We will love to come back some other time :)

    Grand Sable is more of a location you drive through rather than a place to stay. It’s a nice place to see and stop to take pictures as you drive through but not really a place to stay for any length of time except maybe one night. The name sounds like there should a beach here but there is not.

    A bit beaten town, lots of drunks and abandoned houses. There are some nice restaurants around (Chez Tino, Green Island Beach Restaurant) and places to visit (Île aux Cerfs, GRSE waterfall), but overall not to stay for too long.

    My wife and I were stopping over in Mauritius on route to...

    My wife and I were stopping over in Mauritius on route to Perth, Australia. We booked for three nights but could only stay for one night as Air Mauritius rescheduled our connecting flight for two days earlier, so we only had the one night. We only managed to do a short drive around the following morning and the local area was very quite with only a couple of large resorts nearby and one small supermarket. We did not get to visit the nearby large market in Central Flacq. The drive from the airport was aproximately 1 hour 15 minutes. We then had to drive back the following evening to the airport. Night driving in Mauritius was difficult and slow going so for a one night stay it is not worth it. This part of the island (East) is also very windy, although we found it a warm wind so it was not to bad, even by the pool. The complex is good for a quiet few days or week, but not suitable for those who like a lot going on nearby.

    The village is charming, easy to go on the boat to other islands. I recommend a visit to Ile aux Cerf, you can relax or do some sport e.g waterski, swimming. By boat to GRSE Waterfall. Take a BBQ lunch to one of the other island there.
