Beautifully maintained, clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. Room was spacious and very comfortable. We had a room with a balcony nd this was excellent for sun and fresh air. The hotel is located right in the middle of Senglea, and it's a short walk to restaurants and the water taxi over to Valletta.

A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location, the staff are wonderful, so helpful and considerate.Breakfast is delicious with many options and all served with a smile.The building is beautiful, Charlie on reception is a total joy, we enjoyed her help and long chats, we will miss her ! We loved almost every aspect of our stay at the Cugo Gran Macina! The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room (Corner Suite), was the perfect size for the two of us and also finished to a high standard. The breakfasts were amazing and the dinner was a fantastic experience as well. It was my 50th birthday during my stay and staff put some balloons and a cake in my room when we were out which was a nice touch.

It’s very comfortable, huge and cozy! Whatever I want or need I could find intuitively, like I was living there all my life! There was more than enough towels! The location is excellent, in the middle of old town, opposite a wonderful church, next to square where you can find a lot restaurants! The owner is very hospitable and answering all your questions almost immediately! I wish I could stay here longer next time!
